Y/N's POV

For a minute, I sat there confused. I didn't remember using a new power. I thought back to that night. I then remembered when I was saving Alicia from the creature. I remembered a flash of light and then the creature flew back before my fist made contact with him. What was that flash of light? Do I have some sort of wind power or something?

"Do you want me to explain everything that happened that night, or just the part where I discovered the new power?" I asked.

"Just the part that includes your new power." BEN responded.

I nodded. "I was protecting Alicia from the creature. If I remember correctly, you guys call him 'The Rake'. Anyways, I was getting prepared to punch him and the creature was getting ready to leap at me. While the creature leaped at me, my fist was already flying towards him. I remember there being a gush of wind and a bright flash of light before I saw the creature already flying back before I even touched him. A bunch of leaves and sticks that were around him also flew back with him as if a burst of wind pushed him back." I explained.

"It seems like you have unlocked a wind power. Slenderman is going to want to see what you can do with that new power of yours." BEN said.

"That reminds me, when will be the next time that will be happening? I highly doubt that I'd be able to do anything tonight along with the next couple of days." I asked.

"Probably next week. That is if you are better by then." BEN said.

I nodded and went back to getting my schoolwork done. He walked out of the room to what I assumed was the living room. My suspicions were confirmed when I heard faint voices from the TV. I went back to focusing on the schoolwork. I couldn't afford to fall behind.

The hours passed as I just kept on working on my schoolwork. Before I knew it, Alicia came back. "Hey! Classes are over! How are you doing?" she asked.

I looked up from my schoolwork before responding. "I'm doing fine. I've just been catching up on some of the schoolwork." I said.

"Have you been working on your schoolwork all day?" she asked.

"I have. I can't afford to fall behind. Also, can you hand these in for me?" I responded. I gave her the assignments I had completed since she left.

She took them. "I guess I can. But you need to give yourself a break. At least take a break to call your mom if you haven't yet. Also, I need to change the bandages." Alicia said.

"Fine..." I sighed out. I set aside the assignment I was working on. Alicia left the room and came back moments later with bandages and alcohol wipes.

By the time she came back in, I was already on my phone looking for my mom's contact. I found it and called her. As I waited for my mom to pick up, Alicia set down the bandages and wipes and got to work on my arms.

As she began to take the bandages off of my left arm, my mom picked up. "Hello?" I heard her voice through the phone.

"Hey mom, it's Y/N." I said.

"Y/N! Are you alright!? Alicia told me about the accident! Please tell me that you're doing alright!" my mom practically yelled through the phone.

"I'm alright mom. Sorry to worry you. I was out for a while, that's why I haven't called. Sorry." I said in a soft voice in an effort to calm her down.

I heard her sigh in relief through the phone. "Thank goodness. I was really worried when Alicia told me you were in an accident. Are you still in the hospital?" she asked.
