Chapter 43: Revealed

Y/N's POV

Alicia and I play a game of 501. It was so much fun! When the game first started, it looked like Alicia was going to win, but then, at the end, I took the game.

After the game, Alicia went back to the corner of the bar. "Y/N, do you want anything to eat?" Alicia asked.

"Can I see the menu?" I asked. I already knew a lot of the food they had here. I just wanted to check to make sure I knew everything they had.

It didn't take long for me to make a selection. "Can I have the pork tenderloin with fries?" I asked.

Alicia smiled. "Sure thing! Would you like anything on it?"

I shook my head. "No thanks."

The bartender came over. "Would you like anything to drink?" she asked.

"Can I have F/D (favorite drink)?" I asked.

She nodded and got it. I put some money on the counter to pay for the food and drink. A few minutes later, Alicia came with my food. "Enjoy!" she said with a smile.

I happily ate my meal while I talked with Alicia. While I was eating, some people started to come in. By the time I was done with my food, there were five people in the bar. I gave both Alicia and the bartender a tip before I left. I got into my car and drove back to the apartment.

I made it back to the apartment and just continued to just relax in my room and mess around on my phone. I scrolled through TikTok for a bit before my battery started to get low. I plugged my phone in and pulled out my computer. I opened up YouTube and clicked on the first mildly interesting video. I continued to watch YouTube until it got completely dark outside.

When I was about to put my computer away for the night, I heard my phone ringing. Who would be calling me this late? I thought. I picked it up and the caller ID told me Alicia was calling. I answered the call. "Hello?"

"Hey Y/N, some drunk idiots got into a fight in the parking lot of the bar. One of the victims of this fight was my car. The windshield is shattered and the passenger side window is cracked. Can you come pick me up?" she asked.

"Alright. I'll be there in fifteen minutes." I said.

I grabbed my keys and a hoodie before heading out. I got into the car and started to drive towards the bar. When I was about halfway there, Alicia called me again. I answered the call while I was driving. "Hello?"

"Y/N! I see someone across the street just staring at me. He has a dirty white hoodie like the person who was attacking you! Y/N, the bar is closed and there is no one else around, what should I do!?" Alicia exclaimed frantically. She sounded like she was close to tears.

I pressed on the gas pedal. I had to get to her before he did anything to her. "Alicia, just stay there, I'm on my way! I'll be there in less than five minutes. If he tries to approach you, run!" I said as I was speeding down the street.

"Please hurry!" Alicia was nearly screaming at this point. Her voice was thick with tears.

"I am! I'm almost there, just stay there!" I exclaimed.

I heard Alicia's breath pick up speed. "He's walking across the street! What should I do?!" Alicia asked in a panic.

"Run! I'm almost there, I can see the bar!" I said frantically.

I saw a figure run across the street and another figure run away. "Alicia, I see you! Can you run towards me?" I yelled through the phone. My heart almost stopped as I saw the figure grab Alicia.

I drove towards them, stopped the car, and ran towards them. I saw Alicia look towards me. "Y/N! Help!" she yelled.

Once I reached them, I stopped thinking. My body reacted on instinct. I activated my strength. My left leg was glowing red as I kicked the attacker away from Alicia. He landed at least twenty feet away.

He got up holding his abdomen in pain. He managed to straighten himself before running towards us, knife in hand. Once I saw more of his features, I knew who he was. I activated my shield before he got to us. It was then that he recognized me. He stood there, dumbfounded.

I looked behind me and looked at Alicia. She had the look of utter shock on her face. I decided to let her think for a minute while I dealt with Jeff who was also shocked. "Y/N, I-"

I cut him off. "You just attacked my friend! You better leave before I beat the crap out of you!" I yelled, furious.

"Leave? You just revealed your powers to her! No one can know about them, you know this. You might as well just let me kill her." Jeff raised his knife.

"Hell no! You're not killing her! I'm not letting you!" I yelled out.

"What the hell do you suppose we do then?! No one is supposed to know about your powers or about any of us!" Jeff exclaimed.

"I'll figure something out! Don't you dare touch her!" I spat out.

"You know that I'm going to have to tell him about this, right? I don't think that he'll be very happy about the news." he said.

"Whatever, just don't hurt my friend." I said.

It was then that we all heard a voice in our heads. "Now what seems to be going on here?"

I was mildly shocked. But then again, we are pretty close to the forest. I could easily see it from here. I looked over towards the forest and saw a tall figure amongst the trees, knowing who it was. Could he hear us from there?

"Y/N just revealed her powers." Jeff pointed at me.

"What was I supposed to do? You just tried to kill my friend!" I exclaimed. Jeff and I were glaring at each other.

"Calm down. What is her name?" I heard The Slenderman's voice in my head.

"Her name is Alicia." I said, almost a whisper.

We heard his voice once again. "Jeff, can you lead them both to the mansion? I'm sure we could figure something out from there."

"Fine..." Jeff grumbled out.

The tall figure vanished. Jeff started to make his way towards the forest. I grabbed Alicia's hand. I pulled her along. Once we reached the forest she took a deep breath and let go of my hand, able to walk without me having to drag her.
