Chapter 58: Time To Show Off

Y/N's POV

Everyone was excited to see what my powers looked like. Alicia spoke up. "Show them your strength. You don't have to punch anything, just show them what it looks like."

I nodded and took off my hoodie so that they would have a better look at the power. I then activated my strength. The others watched in amazement as my hands started to glow red. The red power spread through my arms up to my shoulders.

"Spread the power throughout your body!" Alicia said excitedly.

I did just that. My powers spread through my shoulders to my neck and head. Then down my torso. The power continued down my legs all the way to my feet. Even though I was wearing jeans, you could see the glow through them. The others, including Alicia, were amazed at the sight.

I let them soak in the sight for a couple of minutes before deactivating my strength. They stayed quiet for another minute. Alicia was just smiling, slightly bouncing from excitement. BEN and Clockwork just looked at me in amazement, even though I just deactivated my strength.

"Now the shield!" Alicia exclaimed.

I took a deep breath and summoned my shield. I kept my shield there for a couple of minutes to let them soak in the sight. While I kept my shield there, I lost myself in my thoughts. I know that I can summon multiple shields, and I know that I can keep the shield in place while I move around, but could I move the shield while I stayed in the same place? It's worth a shot, I guess.

I moved my hand around and focused on moving the shield. It didn't take long for me to succeed in my task. I smiled as I watched the shield move.

I decided that they had enough time to observe one of my shields. So, I summoned another shield, and another, and another. Soon, I had summoned five shields. I could've summoned more, but I didn't feel like it.

I decided that I had given them enough of a show and let the shields dissipate. After a few moments of silence, BEN spoke up. "Well, I'm going to the next training session. I can't wait to see what else you can do!"

"They'll probably test out her new wind ability, too." Alicia added.

"You guys will have to wait. The next training session isn't until next week at the earliest." I said.

After a few more minutes of talking, BEN decided to take his leave. After he left, I retreated to my room. I pulled out my computer and plugged it into the charger. I pulled out the instructions of the project and got to work.

Before I could pull up the project, Alicia walked into my room. She was holding bandages and alcoholic wipes. She looked at me expectantly.

I sighed and got up. "To the bathroom." I stated blatantly. We walked into the bathroom. I wanted to see how the wounds looked since I couldn't see them properly without a mirror.

Once we closed the door to the bathroom, I took off my shirt. I saw the bandages wrapped around my torso. I took off the bandages on my arms first. They didn't look too bad. They were quickly cleaned and bandaged up again.

After my arms were all bandaged up, we moved onto my torso. I peeled off the bandage on my side. I looked at the wound in the mirror. It looked worse than I thought seeing it in this light.

I guess Alicia read the expression in my face, because she spoke. "It actually looks better than it did a few days ago."

I just watched as she cleaned and bandaged the wound. Next was the back. Alicia peeled the bandages off of the large wounds on my back. I couldn't see my entire back, but from what I could see in the mirror, it looked terrible. I couldn't imagine my back looking worse than that. No wonder why it hurt the first few times the bandages were changed. Well, the first few times while I was conscious.
