Chapter 57: Back To Class

Y/N's POV

I woke up the next morning when Alicia came in to see me. "Hey Y/N! Sorry if I woke you. How are you feeling today?" she asked when she saw that I was awake.

"I'm feeling pretty good!" I said. Then an idea popped into my head. Since I'm walking now, maybe I can start going to class again. I don't want to be stuck in this bed any longer.

I got up, much to Alicia's surprise. I walked over to the closet and pulled out a random outfit and a hoodie. "Since I'm walking around again, can I start going back to class? I feel like I'll go crazy if I stay in this room any longer." I said.

"I didn't even know that you could even get up until now!" Alicia exclaimed, astonished.

"I only started walking last night. I took a shower shortly after you left last night." I stated.

"I guess you can go today. But if you start struggling to get around, I'm taking you back here. And I don't want you going to work just yet. Not until you've healed a bit more." Alicia said.

"Fine by me." I agreed.

"Good. Alright, well, go ahead and get changed. I'll fix you something to eat." she said as she left the room.

I got dressed in my outfit and tied the hoodie around my waist. I walked out of my room and made my way to the bathroom. I brushed my hair and took a look in the mirror. I noticed the hickeys on my neck. I wore my hair down and pulled some of my hair in front of my neck. I did my best and called it good.

I walked out of the bathroom and I could smell eggs cooking. I walked into the kitchen to see Alicia preparing just what I suspected, eggs. "Could you prepare food for BEN, too, please?" I asked.

"I was already planning on it." she responded.

Once she finished cooking, I thanked her. I took my plate and BEN's and went into the living room. I handed BEN his plate of food. "Thanks." he mumbled. He looked up, I assumed he was expecting Alicia, but found me standing there. He looked a bit surprised, but the surprised expression turned into a smirk.

"Well, look at you walking around. Looks like you're making progress, Are you going to class today?" BEN asked.

I nodded, "Yes, I am. I'm glad to finally be out of bed." I said.

"What about work?" he asked.

"Not yet." I simply responded, sitting down next to him on the couch.

"Alright, I understand. Well, looks like I'll be hopping into your phone today. Is it all charged up?" he asked.

"It should be. I plugged it in last night." I said. I started digging into my eggs. As I expected, they were delicious.

I wasn't interested in whatever BEN was watching. I eventually finished my food and brought my plate back into the kitchen and washed it. I went back into the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

I walked back into my room and grabbed my phone. I checked the time. 8:25AM. I should get going soon. I grabbed my bag and computer bag and left the room.

I walked back out of my room. "Alicia, we need to get going soon!" I yelled out.

"I know! I'll be ready in a bit!" I heard her yell back. I walked into the living room and saw BEN still sitting there. He saw me and got up. I held out my phone and waited for him to jump in. He eventually did and I put my phone in my pocket. I turned off the TV and walked back into the kitchen, grabbing my keys.

I put on my hoodie and just as I was about to walk out, I saw Alcia walk into the kitchen. We left together, we had to go a bit slow on the stairs. They were a bit difficult as I had only just started walking again. We made it outside and separated to get to our own cars.
