Chapter 60: Movies

Y/N's POV

I took a shower and got dressed and ready. I went into the kitchen and got started on breakfast. I could see BEN on the couch watching something on the TV. "BEN, do you want some eggs and toast?" I shouted so he could hear me.

"Sure." he shouted back.

I quickly got both of our meals finished and walked over to the couch holding two plates. I handed one over to BEN and kept the other for myself. I sat down beside him on the couch. "My boss wants me to come into work today at noon. I'm gonna have Alicia come over and stay here until Clockwork gets here and let her in and tell her that I'm at work while you come with me on my phone to work." I told BEN.

"That's fine with me. Just let me know when Clockwork arrives." BEN replied.

"I will." I said. I started to dig into my food.

After we were both finished with our food and I cleaned everything up, I went back into my room. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. It was only 10:15AM. Looks like I have some time to kill.

As I started messing around on my phone, I looked back on the last few days. I realized that I haven't messed around hardly at all since The Rake attacked. I couldn't remember a single time where I just messed around on my phone or watched any videos or shows since I got wounded. All I ever did was schoolwork.

After about fifteen minutes, I remembered that I had to text Alicia.

Y/N: Hey. I have to work today at noon. I was wondering if you could stay at my place for a few hours to let Clockwork in and tell her where I was at.

I hit send and got back to messing around on my phone. Another fifteen minutes passed and I got a reply.

Alicia: Sure, I don't mind. I don't have anything I have to do today, anyways. I'll be there soon.

At around 11AM, I heard a knock at the door. I got up and out of my room made my way down into the living room to answer the door. I opened the door and saw Alicia standing there. "Hey Y/N." she said as she let herself in.

"Thanks for coming today." I said.

"It's not like I had anything better to do today." she replied.

She didn't seem to still be in a sour mood like she was yesterday. I was relieved that she wasn't upset with me. Alicia spoke up again, which snapped me out of my thoughts. "So, it looks like you have some free time after work, right?"

"I do, why do you ask?" I replied.

"I was wondering if you wanted to have a movie night. It's been a long time since you've had any free time at all. It's been forever since we've been able to hang out with Bella." She spoke.

It sounded like an awesome idea, until I remembered that Bella doesn't know about anything that's been happening recently. "I would love to do that, but what about Clockwork?" I asked.

"I forgot about that. What if you said that she was your cousin coming to visit you or something?" Alicia suggested.

"That could work, but you have to talk to Clockwork about it before we can ask Bella if she's up for a movie night." I said.

After a bit of chatting, I decided that it was about time to head to work. I grabbed a hair tie, my phone, and my keys. I walked back into the living room and held out my phone. BEN hopped into my phone and just like that, we were off.

Nothing much happened at work. My shift went by smoothly. When Clockwork showed up, BEN left. By the time 6PM rolled around, I clocked out and went home.
