Meredith
After dinner, Negan breaks open the bottle of Gin and pours himself a small glass. He brings the glass to his lips and takes a sip.
"Ah." He sighs out. "This is amazing. I haven't had Gin in such a long time. What else do ya got?" He asks, opening the cabinet. He finds the different bottles of alcohol, smiling. He reaches up and grabs the large bottle of whiskey. That was something I was saving for Daryl. He likes his whiskey, likes it a lot. Mentioned that he couldn't find a bottle for a while. I managed to find it and I was saving it for his birthday. Don't ask me how I know when his birthday is, one of these days, it's it.
"Don't." I blurt out to Negan. He turns to me, brows furrowed down. He waited for me to explain myself. "I...I was saving it..for an important occasion." I say. He nods.
"Well, if you really thought you'd all sit around a table on sunday afternoon, livin' happily ever after, you thought wrong." He shrugs.
"It's for someone's birthday." I shrug at him. "Remember those?" I ask him. He throws me a small chuckle.
"Oh. It's for his birthday, am I right?" He asks. I look down.
"Just figured I would surprise him." I shrug. "And I'm sure you've got plenty of alcohol where you live." Negan chuckles and nods his head.
"For you, Meredith, I will grant your request of not drinking Daryl's alcohol." He says and places it back in the cabinet. "'Course...there are other ways we can resolve this." He nods. I furrow my brows at him.
"What?" I ask him. He approaches my small figure and leans in close to me, his face just inches from mines.
"What do you, Mer? We send Olivia out with the kiddos, we use that couch for some fun actives?" He smirks. I huff out a breath. "What? I mean, I think it'll be enjoyable for the both of us. I mean, I get it. A man that looks like Daryl, it could be hard to compare. But you won't know the comparison til you try, right? And besides the point, I'm sure it's hard scratchin' that itch without him around. I'll be your relief, yeah?" He asks.
"I'm gonna go vomit and pretend you didn't offer me up." I shake my head.
"I said no!" We hear outside front door. Negan walks over to the door opens it up.
"Don't be an asshole, Arat." He calls. "Let the man pass." Arat stands off to the side and allows Spencer up the stairs. What the hell is he doing here? "Oh, crap. Is that for me?"
"We haven't official met." Spencer smiles, holding up a bottle of Bourbon. "I'm Spencer Monroe. Hi." Spencer greets. Negan slaps his fingers.
"Meredith." He calls. "Would you be a doll and get us some nice, clean glasses for me and my new friend Spencer here, Darlin?" He asks. I turn away and head off inside, grabbing glasses and walking back outside. I set the glasses down on the side table and stood behind the pair, crossing my arms.
"These glasses aren't gonna fill themselves, are they?" Negan asks.
"You're such an ass." I huff under my breath.
"Ah, you wanna know why I haven't killed you yet?" He asks. "Because I like you. Your whole...attitude. It just makes me laugh, tickles something inside of me and I can't but help enjoy the hatred you've got for me."
"I'm so glad you enjoy being hated." I nod. "Hatred can get you killed in some cases." I say, pouring the Bourbon in the cups.
"Careful." He points. "Won't wanna make me angry enough to wanna go and kill someone." I cap the bottle and turned away. "Where do you think you're going?" He asks.
