Daryl
Michonne, Tara and I drive the truck towards the Sanctuary. I slow the truck to a stop, hearing Morgan's voice through the walkie.
"Hey, cut that engine." He demands. "Any closer, you'll draw walkers from the yard." I pull the keys from the ignition and we all wait. I look around the Sanctuary through the sniper scope, handing it over to Tara. She takes the scope and looks herself.
"You take fire from the windows, we fire back." Morgan calls. I nodded my head.
"Come on." Tara calls. "There's a spot for cover by the chutes." She opens the door and climbs out. I turn my attention to Michonne. She hasn't said anything. She sat in the seat, staring off at the Sanctuary.
"You up for this?" I ask her. She nods her head.
"I came here 'cause I wanted to see things for myself." She begins. "I wanted to know that things were gonna work. But you know what? I don't get to know that. None of us do. What I do know is that things are working now. So maybe...we just need to trust that things are gonna keep working, because this...what we're about to do...it's not worth risking us." I look down, nodding my head.
"It is for me." I answer. "It is for Meredith. Just is." Michonne let's outa sigh, shaking her head.
"I hope it works out." She says. "I-I really, really do, but I-I-I can't do it. I just can't." I bite my lower lip, nodding my head.
"Then you shouldn't." I tell her. We held a stare with each other. We both knew if this were to go sideways, all the blame would be pointed to me. In a way, Michonne is scared Rick would hate her for it. She doesn't want him hating her, probably stop loving her. I get it. And that's why if...when Mer wakes up, I'm gonna tell her and she can either hate me for it or love me.
Michonne climbs out of the truck and heads off. Tara walks around the truck and approaches the drivers side.
"We got Morgan and the snipers." She informs me. "We can do this."
"Yeah." I nod. "We will."
Tara ran up behind a large block of cement. She peaks around the corner and turns over to me, sitting in the truck, waiting for my go. We waited a few moments before hearing a few gunshots. Tara jumps out, raising her gun and fires a few shots. I stepped down on the gas pedal and drove around the curb, getting to the walkers, to the Sanctuary. As I made the turn around the block of cement, gunshots fill the truck. I line the truck up with the door, grab the cinderblock and lay it on the gas pedal. Finally, I open the door and jump out, pulling myself up and watching the truck slam into the Sanctuary. All the walkers turn their attention to the loud crash and move towards it. It didn't take long til we hear gunshots filling the building, shouts of people ordering the others to get back.
"Nice job. You and Tara should head home." Morgan calls through the walkie. I rush over to Tara, waving for her to start running.

I sat down beside Mer's bed. Tara and I made it back home all in once piece. We talked about a few things before parting ways. I got home, took a quick shower and sat here with Mer. I've fallen asleep a few times, but woke up, took a few walks, now I'm back. Rick still ain't back. But he will be. I know he will.
I glance up at the monitor, seeing Mer's stats remained the same. I wanted nothing more than for her to wake up. I need her back. I needa hear her voice, see her smile. She's gotta come back to us.
"Meredith, you gotta wake up." I sigh out, grabbing her hand. "We need you. Now, more than ever. Please, just show me you're okay, all right? Open your eyes, lift a finger. If you can hear me..." I rest my chin on her hand. "I might've crossed the line today. I wasn't thinking about anyone but myself, but us. You and me. Negan...the Saviors...they were all surrounded by walkers. Rick wanted to wait two more days to end it all. But I couldn't. I didn't want to. I rammed a garbage truck into their doors, let the walkers spill in. Rick and I fought over it. I mean, we physically threw punches at each other. I love him. He's my brother. But what I did...it was right. I took that chance to end it all. Rick's plan is still in motion, but we're just...waiting." I look up at her face. Her eyes remained closed, her chest continued to rise up and down slowly. "Come on, Mer. Tell me you're here with us, please." I whisper. "I miss you. I need you here. I need-" The sound of metallic clanging fills my ears from outside. I stood up from the bedside and walk over to the nearest window in the room, giving me the perfect view of the front gate. A microphone feedback squeals through the air.
