Daryl
I ride my bike on the road, following after the jeep that kept all the guns we needed. Rick drives the jeep behind me, catching up as much as he could. We come around a curve and I revved the bike more, making it get closer and closer to the Savior. I reach down and pulled up my gun, firing the gun. The tailgate of the jeep falls and a man sits up, pointing an automatic gun right at me. I back on the break, swerving around before swerving over to the side and falling on my side, sliding into the grass. Rick drives by, making sure the Saviors don't make to the Sanctuary.
I quickly pull the bike up, climbing over it, starting the engine and driving off. I rode as fast as I could to catch up. Rick swerved around a few times from the Savior firing the gun. The last time, he swerves out from behind the jeep, giving me a clear shot at firing at the Savior. His body flops over and Rick finally catches up. I watched as Rick jumps from his jeep and into the Saviors. The two fight for a moment before I see the Savior's body come out of the drivers seat, the jeep itself flies into the ditch.
I pull the bike into the grass and hoped off, letting it go and lean it against the guard rail. I run over to the ditch, seeing the jeep on it's side. My heart pounds against my chest. I was worried Rick was thrown from the jeep and was slammed into a tree or hell, crushed under the jeep itself.
"Hey." I look down, seeing the tall grass shuffling around. Rick slowly climbs his way up, grunting. I move down closer to him, grabbing his hand and pulling him up. We stood on the slanted hill, looking down at the destroyed jeep.
"We got the guns." He huffs out.
"You look like shit." I tell him.
"Let's go see if this asshole's alive." He sighs out. We turn away and go back down the road, seeing the body of the Savior remained on the ground. Oh, he was alive, sum bitch was tryin' to crawl away.
"Your people back at the chemical plant..." Rick begins as we raised our guns up and aimed 'em at the Savior. "did you win?"
"No one did." He shakes his head, turning onto his back.
"The hell's that supposed to mean?" I question. He let's out a cough, but he doesn't respond. I stomp my foot down on his chest, pushing the gun closer to his face. "The hell's that mean?" I growl.
"Everyone's dead." He forces out.
"Bullshit." I deny.
"There's no one else? You're the only one?" Rick asks.
"Me." The Savior sighs. "The King. The Axe Man. And a short-haired psycho lady." I pull my eyes away, knowing he was talking about Carol. "You did this. My people...your people...they're all gone. Damn. And now...me, too." He head falls to the side and he stops breathing. I let out a sigh, shaking my head and walking away. Everyone from Ezekiel's team is dead. Meaning Carol is, too.
I walk down the hill and returned back to the jeep. The engine was smoking and the gasoline spilled from the tank. I walk around to the back, seeing all the guns in the boxes remained. I reached up and grabbed the smallest one I saw and yanked it. No budge. Rick appears around the jeep, staring at me.
"Hey. Give me a hand with this." I tell him. We both grab onto the box and pulled on it. Ain't so small anymore. It's small in width, but in length, it's long. We walk over to the side and set the box down on the ground. We open up the box and find explosives. I turn my head and see a backpack. I picked it up and began stuffing in all the dynamite into the bag.
"We can use these now." I tell Rick, knowing he was staring at me the entire time.
"What?" He asks.
"Well, think about it." I point. "There ain't no Kingdom no more."
