Daryl

We come around a corner and find our car parked on the side of the road, along with some stragglers banging and clawing at the windows to get inside.

"They must've heard us pull up." I glance over my shoulder. "I got it. Watch him." I raise my crossbow and fire the first arrow to the nearest walker. I continued on to shoot the crossbow til I grew close enough to the others and used my knife. I grab onto the next one, bringing my and back to kill it. Before I could jab the blade into it's skull, gunshots echoes. I turn my head and see Rosita standing down the road, firing her gun with Eugene nowhere to be found. I push the walker away and rush over to Rosita's side, seeing her covered in straight yellow vomit. We jog over to the little opening of the wooden fence and see the piles of ashes. I look down and search for Eugene's footprints.

"He couldn't have got far." I point to the ground. "Come on." I pick up the pace and we run off to find Eugene.

"We can't let him get back to them! If you see him, blow that pig's head off!" Rosita shouts behind me.

It was a lost cause with finding Eugene. Rosita and I decided to end the search and head back home. We knew if we stayed out any longer, we'd probably get taken or killed.

Gregory came back home. Delivered a message from Dwight. It's map with circles and an X, mapping out where Negan will be. Rick informed us on the plan he's got, telling us how we're gonna end this for good. No more running around.

It's the morning of the battle. Rick, Michonne, Rosita, Maggie and I all gathered around together, looking down at the map, laying out the plan one last time before we head out.

"All right. We'll stick to this road, keep to the trees, we'll get there quicker." I say. "Plus, we can keep an eye on the road that way."

"Yeah, if they're planning anything, we'll see it." Rosita nods.

"You think you can trust Gregory?" Michonne asks. "What he told us?"

"I locked him up inside the house." Maggie nods. "He knew I wouldn't let him walk around free. He knew he was coming back to that. He doesn't believe in anything except himself, and he'd have to believe in the Saviors a whole lot to send us into a trap and think it would work out for him."

"Unless Dwight isn't tell him." I say. "That asshole could be setting us up." Rick grabs the map and folds it up. He turns to all of us, nodding his head.

"We leave in ten." He calls.

"I'm gonna go see Mer." I say. I pull away from the others and head off to Barrington House. I jog up the stairs and walk over to the room where she slept. I open up the door and see Jesus standing in the room. A wave of fear grows over me.

"What? Is she all right? What happened?" I ask him. Jesus shakes his head.

"Nothing." He claims. "But, uh, she turned over." He points. I turn my eyes to Mer and see her sleeping on her side. We haven't done anything with her moving in the bed. I did thought of it, but I'd always forget to move her around just in case of things.

"We didn't do that, right?" I ask him. He shakes his head.

"She did it on her own." He says. I huff out a smile and walk over to her bedside. I grab her hand and held it tight in mines.

"We're gonna do this. Today. We're ending this." I tell her. "It's all gonna be over and we're all gonna be okay, Mer. Squeeze my hand if you heard that just now." Her hand grips onto mines, more stronger than she did last time. I smile down at her, nodding my head. "I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna do it for you. I'm gonna work harder for you, Mer. I promise."
