Meredith
The door opens up and the darkness fills with light. I hear a sigh, a few muffled voices outside.
"Damn it." I hear Arat's voice fill my ears. I open my good eye, just enough to take a peak. Arat stood in front of the door, reaching down and grabbing the walkie.
"Negan. Come in, Negan." She calls. The walkie fills with static before Negan's voice come through.
"Watcha got?" He asks.
"Meredith." Arat begins. "She's dead." She informs him.
"Goddamn it." Negan sighs out on the other end. "Well, you know what to do. Take care of the body."
"Perimeter?" Arat asks. There's a breif moment of silence.
"No." Negan repsonds. "Better yet, find the biggest box you can find. Put the body in there and we'll deliver her back to Alexandria. Give these people a chance to bury her. I'm on my way to you to make sure you don't screw anything else." Arat shakes her head, throwing her head back.
"Put her down so she doesn't turn into the dead." She demands one of the men. I lied on my side, one arm rested under my head, the other slung behind my back. I gripped onto the handle of Negan's knife. Little does he know, I'm the worlds best pocket thief.
One of the men pushes me onto my back. He grabs my head and holds onto it. Before he was able to jab the blade into my brain, I swing my hand up and jab the blade into his neck. He let's out gurgles and coughs before falling over to the side, blood pouring from his neck. I shot up from the ground and throw the knife at the next man. His body tenses, causing him to pull the trigger, sending bullet's all over. He drops to the ground and I turn around, jumping onto Arat. I grab her by the shoulder, pulling her up and slamming her to the ground multiple times. She falls dazed for a moment and I brought my fists up, punching her over and over again, doing the same thing she had done to me.
She brings her knife up, swinging it for my throat. I quickly lean to the side, stomping down on her arm, forcing her to drop the knife. I lean over, snatch it up and held it to her throat. She breathes heavily, pulling her arms up next to the side of her face, opening up her hands, staring me in the eyes and nods her head. I huff out a breath, shaking my head.
"Look at you." I lightly laugh. "You're just gonna give up? Just like that?" I ask her. She rolls her eyes. "See, I knew it. You were all bark and no bite. You wanna tie someones hands behind their back, beat the shit out of them But the second they fight back, you immediately give up." I nodded my head, pushing the knife more against her throat, causing her to wince in pain. "You can do whatever the hell you want to me. But I'm never gonna let you talk about my son." I prepare myself to pull the knife across her throat, but the sound of a gun cocking and metal touching the side of my head stops me. The familiar whistle fills my ears and I slowly look up. Negan steps around the corner, holding Lucille over his shoulder, one hand in his pocket. He turns his body and looks down at me.
"Well, shit." He huffs out. "What do we have here?" His eyes scan around, seeing the two men dead behind me, seeing me straddling Arat, knife held at her throat.
"I gotta admit, pulling a fake death was smart, Meredith." He nods. "But what were you planning to do once you've killed Arat?" He asks. "I know I haven't given you the grand tour and all, but you've hadda think about all these people walkin' the streets, right?"
"I don't care." I shake my head. "I took my chance. Now, I could be dead within the next few minutes, but I don't care. I wanted to be able to kill this bitch." I growl. Arat brings me down, headbutting me. I fall over to the side and she stands up, kicking me in the stomach. Immediately, but body curls into a ball, gasping in air, coughing, almost gagging from the pain.
