"Awe cheer up kido! It won't be too bad! I mean you had some pretty good friends before we left! Maybe you will become friends with them again!" said my father trying his best to get me to like the idea of us moving back to Texas.
"yea... i guess.." i answered exhaustingly.
"Hey what about that Austin kid? The one you used to hang around all the time when you were little! You know! The brunette with hazel eyes! You two used to be best of friends last I remember."
Austin.. I had totally forgot about him. He was one of my best friends when I was little.... maybe the only friend I had. We did everything together! Walked to school together since it was only down the street from our houses! He lived two doors down from me so we were always hanging out at each others house. He was the sweetest person I had ever known! Plus he was super cute! We had that best friends/crush relationship.
"Oh yea! I think I still have his number! we never talk anymore. Maybe I'll text him to tell him that I'm moving back!" i said with a smile apon my face.
Just thinking about Austin makes me get butterflies. I miss him. I unlocked my phone and clicked my contacts. Right there. The first one. Austin Mahone it read. We talked a few years after I moved to Cali then we got phones so we didnt use our parents phones anymore.
I began typing and hovered over the "Send Message" button but changed my mind and clicked the backspace until everything was deleted. What do I say? I haven't talked to him in 8 years or so? After thinking long and hard about it I finally thought of something and hit send. I guess now I just have to wait and see what happnes next.
