"What the fuck was that for?" I practically yelled at her in the hallway some students turning around to see what was going on.

A sarcastic laugh escaped from her mouth. Her eyes narrowed as she began slowing walking closer to me.

"Listen new girl. I know what you're trying to do. I don't like it. Austin is mine. We love each other and I don't need some piece of trash from California trying to ruin that. You will NOT be going to Ryan's house with Austin. You will defiantly NOT talk to Austin at all. Understood?" She spit those words out at me like poison from a snake.

She rolled her eyes and pushed me as hard as she could, out of her way.

As I gathered myself together, I pulled out my schedule to see what class I had next. I went from class to class. In each period I was to stand up and introduce myself. Being the shy person I am, I just stated my name and sat back down. The stares people gave me wether I was standing of sitting made me uncomfortable.

Finally lunch came around and I headed to the cafeteria where everyone was gathered. When I walked in I immediately felt people staring at me and making comments to their friends at their table. I just kept calm and kept walking towards the line. Chicken nuggets with mash potatoes and gravy with fruit and a roll. Typical school cafeteria food.

After I scanned my I.D which I received this morning I turned around to a full cafeteria. I stopped to search the room for an empty seat or even a friendly face. In the middle of the room was a circular table and sat there was Austin with a few of his friends, Scarlett and her stuck up friends.

Austin caught my stare and raised his hand waving at me, motioning me to sit by him. There was a huge smile on his face so I smiled back and began walking over to his table. When I reached it, Austin pulled out a chair and Scarlett gave me a hated look and I knew if I sat there I would get it from her later.

"Umm. Austin that's okay. Umm ill just go sit somewhere else. I don't want to be a bother or anything. It's okay." I left towards an empty table in the very back. My head was down as I began playing with my mash potatoes with my fork. I hated being alone. I thought about doing my homework so I pulled out my math homework and started working on it. I heard a squeal of a chair moving and I looked up to see Austin sitting down next to me.

"Mind if I sit with you?" He asked with a smile.

"Not at all." I said smiling back. I glanced back at his table across the room and saw Scarlett staring at me as well as her friends. I'm gonna be in big trouble.
