Chapter 35

The next morning I woke up the the waves crashing on the shore outside my window. I sat up in my large bed, stretching out my back.

A soft knock at the door caught my attention.

"Come in." I announce to the person behind the door.

"Are you awake yet?" Austin quietly asks as he enters the room.

"Yes." I giggle.

Austin smiles as soon as he sees me and closes the door behind him. He joins me on the bed and places a sweet kiss on my lips.

"Goodmorning beautiful. I was going to text you that but why not say it instead since i'm right across the hallway." He kisses me again.

"Aww but I like those texts. But I like this better." I kiss him back. He moves a strand of my hair out of my face and rubs his thumb on my cheek.

"I want you to meet some of the people I work with." He says to me.

"Okay when?" I smile at him.

"They're in the kitchen."

"Austin! You could've given me more time to get ready! I just woke up!" My eyes widen.

"It's fine just go and wash up and come out and say hi. They really want to meet you!"

"Fine fine. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." He brings his lips to mine once more before jumping off the bed and out the door.

I can't believe there are people who helps with Austin's career outside the door right this moment and I am still in my pajamas! I rush over to my half way unpacked luggage to try and find an outfit in the spare of a moment.

I find a pair of light washed high waisted denim shorts and a white graphic tank top. Within seconds I place the garments on and place my hair in a high ponytail. With taking a quick look in the mirror once more, I walk out the door down the hallway.

I follow Austin's laughter to the kitchen to see two men sitting across of Austin at the table. At the sight of me, Austin smiles and stands, extending his arm out to me. I grab his hand and walk in front of the men.

"Rocco, Mike, this is my girlfriend Brooke." He smiles at me.

I smile towards Rocco and Mike and shake their hands.

"It's so great to meet you." I smile.

"It's great to meet you young lady! Austin here has been non stop talking about you and how beautiful you are! He's definitely right!" Mike says to me.

"Hey! She's taken." Austin playfully argues.

"How are you liking it here in Miami?" Rocco asks me.

"I absolutely love it!"

"That's awesome. I guess we will be seeing you a lot at the studio? Tomorrow?"

"Umm. Yeah! Defiantly!"

"Okay well we better get going have to run some errands." I say goodbye to the two tall men and Austin escorts them out the door.

"Tomorrow?" I ask Austin as soon as the door closes. "I thought you said next week?"

"I know, I did but they want to start working on the next song. I'm sorry."

"No, no it's okay. Where is everyone?"

"My mom went to the store and the guys I have no clue. What do you want to do?"

"How about we go shopping?" I ask.

"Sure! I'm in need of new shoes." His smile grows from ear to ear.

"You have enough shoes hun." I laugh.

I wanted to update this chapter to give you all something to read in the meantime.
