"Wow there you two. Too much public display of affection. I'm going to have to ask you both to exit the building and get a room." a fake deep voice breaks Austin and I out of our kiss. We both look up to see Robert, Alex and Zach laughing at us.
"Very funny." Austin says towards them.
"Hi boys." I respond as well in a sarcastic tone. To make my response even more dramatic I add an eye roll. Austin places his arm gently over my shoulder, causing me to automatically lean into him.
"Hey Brooke. Where's your dad?" Alex politely questions.
"He already left. Just a few minutes ago actually. He didn't want to get a parking ticket or anything so we had a short goodbye." I smile up at Alex.
"Was this before you guys started sucking face?" Robert annoyingly states, then bursts out in laugter at his childish remark.
"Dude chill." Austin says to try and calm their comments about our kiss.
Robert throws his hands up in the air in defense and sits down next to Alex just a few seats next to Austin.
"What's going on? I can hear you all bickering all the way over there!" Michele appears in view as she approaches the waiting area. I stand to greet her with a hug. Zach, who was previously standing, sees me go hug Michele and decides to sit in my seat next to Austin since there were apparently no more available.
I glare at him for making such a move and he just laughs.
"Here babe. You can sit with me." Austin pats his hands on the top of his legs, motioning me to join him. I smile as I leave Michele's side to sit onto his lap. When I sit, Austin places a soft kiss on my forehead, making the boys around us make a barfing sound.
"Our plane will be leaving in just a few minutes, I just asked the employee." Michele informs us as she checks her phone. "I'm going to call Austin's manager to tell him we'll be boarding soon." she states and walks away to talk privatly.
"Are you excited to see Florida?" Austin asks us with a huge grin on his face. We all reply to his question with excited facial reactions and applause.
"It's going to be so much fun. I got my best friends with me and my beautiful girlfriend as well. We're going to have the time of our lives!" We all begin to cheer in joy for the adventure about to take place.
"Flight 983 to Miami is now boarding." A young woman's voice comes over the intercom announcing our flight information. I leap off of Austin's lap and grab my bags, as do the rest of the boys. As we make our way to the forming line infront of the departure gate, Michele joins us.
"Have you ever been on a plane before?" she asks me.
"Only once when I was really little." I answer.
"Are you scared at all? I know I was when I first got on a plane."
"Yes. Actually I'm a lot scared. I'm scared of what it's going to be like." I admit.
"Oh you'll be fine trust me! There's nothing to worry about." Michele reasurres me. We hear laughter from the boys in front of us and we draw our attention to them. "They're going to be a handful I can already tell. They really did miss each other. Spending every day together like they used to back home. It'll be like we're not even here."
My heart slowly drops as I realize her statement. I'm hoping it won't be true but deep down I have a strong feeling it will be. Seeing the smile on their faces right now as they tell each other foolish jokes is heart warming but also saddening because this is how I think the rest of the time will be. The guys and Michele and I. Separation between us and that's not what I want.
