Chapter 15

I fluttered my eyes open slowly seeing the soft glow of the tv still on. I turned over my shoulder to kiss Austin but to my surprise he wasn't there. I sat up slowly and began looking around the living room for him. My eyes scanned every inch but nothing. I swung my legs over and stood up continuing to search for Austin. I past the kitchen and my dads room but Austin was still nowhere to be seen. I walked down the hallway towards my room and I saw my door cracked when I always shut it. I knew he was in there and a smiled formed on my lips. I slowly pushed the door open to reveal Austin sitting on my bed with a picture frame in his hands.

"Oh hey babe. I didn't hear you wake up. I hope you don't mind that I'm in here." he said looking up at me.

"No it's fine." I laughed.

"Is this your mom?"

"Yea"

"She's beautiful. Just like you." he said smiling at me.

"Thanks. She died giving birth to me so I don't remember her. These pictures that my dad took are all I have of her."

"Aw I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"No it's okay Austin. I'm okay."

"Well.. I don't know if you know but my dad died when I was young as well."

"Austin I had no idea. I'm so sorry."

"It's okay. I don't really like talking about it. I guess we both have some hard lives huh?" He said chuckling a little at the end.

"Yea I guess. But at least we have each other." I said walking in front of him. 

"You are so right." He grabbed my waist and pulled me into a sweet kiss. I placed my hands on his shoulder and pushed off. I began laughing and so did he.

"So what do you wanna do now?" I asked with his hands still on my waist.

"Well I was thinking we could finish what we started earlier." He said winking at me then kissing my neck. Once more I pulled away and laughed. 

"No ahah stop Austin! I don't want to rush things between us."

"Fine fine fine. Want to go get some frozen yogart?"

"I would love to!" He grabbed my hand and led me to the living room. We put our shoes on and Austin grabbed his keys. We drove to the nearset frozen yogart place and parked. It was nearly empty just a few cars here and there; not too many people which was perfect. We walked into the chilly store and began creating our sweet delights. Austin payed for me and we sat in a brightly colorful booth in the corner of the store. As we ate we chatted about future plans between us and school and Austin's career. His Mistletoe cover he made was really getting a lot of attention. More fans were coming in left and right and Austin was starting to get even more famous.

"Hey! have I entroduced you to the crew yet?" Austin asked.

"Crew? No. Why? Who are they?" I replied.

"What? Okay I'll text them to come over they live a few minutes away. The Crew is Alex, Robert, Zach, Tyler and I. Alex and I met in 6th grade because we both had Nike Shocks which were the must have shoes back than. ahh. And the rest of them I met becuase we all played football together. I want them to meet my new girlfriend"

"Oh aww. I would love to meet them!" Within a few minutes four average height young men walked into the shop. They scanned the area and when they found us they yelled and waved to us. They came over and slid into the booth with us making us all squeeze together to fit. Austin placed his arm around me and began introducing us.

"Hey guys! This is Brooke. Brooke this is the crew!"

"So this is the Brooke we've all heard so much about!" The slightly short one with chesnut brown hair and deep brown eyes spoke to me. "I'm Alex." He said extending out his hand.

"I'm Robert. But you haha can call me anything you like baby." The sort of dark complected one said. I laughed and shook his hand as well.

"Sup I'm Zach." Said the light browned hair boy as he nodded towards me.

"Hi I'm Tyler." Said the quiet short light headed guy. 

"Nice to meet ya'll" I said trying to make a good expression for Austins best friends. We talked for hours about anything that came to mind. They were all really nice and sweet to me. Just as everything was going right something had to go wrong of course. In the midst of our laughs, the doors swung open. We turned our heads to see who was entering the store. Scarlette and her friends. I heard Austin sigh beside me and I turned my attention back to the crew. We all were quiet knowing no one liked the fact that she was here.

"I never liked how she treated Austin." Alex whispered to me across the table. We made an effort to continue our conversation but the devil walked right over to our booth. They had their recently payed for yogarts in their hands as they approached us.

"Well looky here. I didn't expect to see you boys here." Scarlette said all trying to be nice and smiling. She turned her attention to Austin now. "Oh. Hi Austin. How are you?" She spoke smoothly and slowly. She placed the spoon in her mouth and winked at Austin. He just looked away because he knew if he said anything I would get mad.

"Slut" I coughed

"What did you say?" she gnarled at me.

"I didnt say anything." I snapped back.

"I think you're low on yogart. Here you go love." My eyes widened as Scarlette dumped all of her yogart on my chest covering my tee and parts of my hair as well. I screamed and loud too.

"YOU BITCH!" I yelled at her. Scarlette and her friends stood there laughing and pointing at me.

"GET OUT OF HERE SCARLETTE!" Austin yelled to her over their laughs. 

"We got it Austin." Robert said as the crew got up and escourted them out of the store.

"Shit. I'm so sorry babe. I didn't know she would come here." he said as he started helping me clean the yogart off of me.

"It's fine Austin. And hey! Watch were you put your hands mister." we started laughing.

"I think you missed a spot" 

"Where?" I asked

"Here" his lips crashed into mine kissing me softly.

"Woah there. Get a room you two." Robert's voice made Austin pull away from me. We all burst into laughter. After going to the restroom and cleaned up we said our goodbyes and separated into our different cars. Austin drove me home and walked me to my doorstep. My dad's car was in the driveway meaning he was already home. 

"I had a good time today with you Brooke. Except for the Scarlette thing. Sorry about that." He said stuffing his hands deep in his pockets.

"It's okay Austin. I wont let her get to me. Thank you for today." I stood on my tiptoes and pecked his lips softly. "Goodnight boyfriend"

Austin leaned down lifting my chin then kissed me back. "Goodnight my love."
