I couldn't stop looking at him, being in the kitchen with his mother helping her set up, I just couldn't stop staring at him outside playing with his cousins . Laughing with them and playing with the little ones he seemed the happiest he could be and I was taking that in as my own of happiness.
Seeing him play with the little kids and with a smile on his face made me only that way. It felt almost thriving. The more I watched him the more I just felt loved around him, I only wished he knew that.

I looked to the woman and noticed what I was doing. "Sorry." I apologized as I quickly put the lid on the pot.
The steam was very clear in the air which made wave it off with my hand. I laughed so innocently towards afeni I took a step back from the stove. "I'm sorry." I apologize as I saw her give me a glare.
