After Skylar accepted the offer, Das accommodated him to have his very own space in the room right next to Flora; the servants and maids almost seemed happy to have a ruler around to serve although it was not their own and they seemed extremely welcoming with Skylar, not holding any type of grudge against him. His room included a bed of his own and a desk where all his paperwork would be delivered, as well as being a generally fresh room with windows and thicker curtains to avoid too much sun from coming in. Sometimes Michael decided to visit as well while the prince was there so that they could both heal and share memories of Flora as if to feel closer to her.

By then about 2-3 months had already passed until that day it was the first day of summer and there was no change at all, whether for better or worse, for her condition so far. That morning, Das was already inside Flora's room before with a concerned look and visibly confused; after a while, he decided to head to Sky's room instead and quietly knock. "Skylar. Are you already awake?" He asked

The prince would keep spending time with her in those months, a little surprised that the servants and maids seemed to be happy to serve him and felt further comfort from the Pink Kingdom on its own. He'd be happy to see Michael and share memories of Flora with him. And whenever he was in Flora's room he'd contribute by sometimes taking care of the flowers around Flora and watering them whenever needed.
When Das had knocked at his room's door one morning he seemed to have been done dressing up for the day and already sat at his desk to work, setting down the quill and turning towards the door "Yes? Come in if you'd like!" He invited him

Das simply opened the door and furrowed his eyebrows, nodding at him to come out for a moment. "There's something wrong with Flora's room, you should come to see it too," he said before walking away from the door and heading to Flora's door instead, not far away from there. He waited in front of it and turned to see if Sky would follow.

"Oh?-.." he raised his eyebrows slightly at that and didn't seem to waste much time as he stood up and followed him out, closing the door behind him. He walked after Das towards Flora's room, a little concerned about what it might be

Once they entered the room, it looked normal at first; only after a moment longer of looking, although the sun was already fully passing through the windows, every single plant had its blossom closed and no flowers exposed at all. Flora didn't seem any different, only during those months her vines kept growing and became long enough to run across the floor and go towards some plants and partially the windows. Das turned to face Sky and seemed to have a worried look at that, furrowing his eyebrows "The blossoms were usually open by this time of the day, at least briefly. I think they're also already watered, so I can't figure out why they didn't open today. Would you mind giving it a look? If I touch them myself, I might cause them harm if they're sensible enough to even feel my poison when it's not on purpose" He said

The young man entered the room along with him and looked around, slowly noticing that none of the plants blossomed although the sunshine passed through the windows. When asked to have a look at them he thought for a moment and carefully walked up to one of the plants "Well I'm not an expert when it comes to plants but-..." He carefully ran his hand over the closed blossoms lightly, trying to figure out whether they were watered or not

The blossoms seemed completely fine and watered, they didn't seem to wilt either and seemed fully alive and not sick. As soon as the prince ran his hand over the blossoms, those same ones immediately opened and faced him without any struggle. Quickly enough, all the blossoms closest to him opened him and all directed towards him as if following the sun, except apparently, it was his cold body instead. They didn't seem to be able to acknowledge Das' presence since his temperature was normal and undetectable, but with the warm weather of the summer Sky's body temperature stuck out enough for Flora to somewhat sense him in the room unconsciously. Now that the vines had grown further enough and even connected to some other plants, it seemed like the whole room was easily reacting to him.

He widened his eyes when they'd suddenly open up at his touch and face him instead of the sun ray. Looking around he noticed the plants close to him, doing the same "...Huh. That's odd" he moved away slowly from the plants and made his way to the other side of the room, observing the blossoms and looking at Das a little cluelessly in-between

Das was watching with his eyes widened, even in disbelief himself. As Sky moved, the trail of blossoms followed him precisely and kept staying around him while the previous ones simply went back to facing the normal direction although they stayed open. After a moment Das brought a hand to his chin and raised his eyebrows briefly "Can they...Can she feel you being here?" He asked, a little surprised still "I could swear they didn't do that with me nor the servants and maids who cleaned this place, it's only with you... that is undocumented " he said pretty impressed.

He widened his eyes slightly seeing that they continued to do the same "I..I suppose they do" he continued walking around, having noticed that they stayed open when after he walked away and causing the other ones to open up as well. "I wonder why though. Perhaps because I'm cold? Maybe does sense me after all" he smiled softly having watched the blossoms turn to him "Maybe she's not fully gone after all"

By then the whole room had the blossoms fully opened as they usually should be, with the closest ones to Sky always following him. Das chuckled at that and sighed in relief. "For a moment I thought the worse had happened to her. I'm glad you could confirm the opposite." He said, crossing his arms and looking around the room in relief. "Maybe you should try interacting with her more, see if you can get any other reaction now that she might have a way to show she knows you're here" he suggested before turning back to him "I'll leave you to it for now, do let me know if you find out anything else," the man said before showing him a slight smile, apparently happy about the situation and leaving him on his own

He looked back at Das and smiled at him, seeingthat the man seemed relieved that nothing worse happened to her. "Yes ofcourse. I'll try to be around her more often." He nodded to his suggestionand watched him leave eventually.
