Chapter Thirty-Nine

Liway was still feeling ecstatic from what happened. Six months ago, hindi mo masasabing mapupunta siya sa ganito kasayang sitwasyon. She said yes to Ryle proposal and they immediately started planning for everything. They settled for a simple garden wedding. Liway even saved a special seat for her late father. Iniiwasan pa rin ng dalawa ang mata ng madla kaya pinanatili nilang pribado ang lahat. And to Liway's suggestion, sinabay nila ang kasal nila sa binyag ng mga anak nila.

Iyong garden na pupuntahan sana nila noon sila ikinasal. It was a private wedding with only their family attended. Liway wore a maxi white off-shoulder dress and a white flower crown. Her bouquet was made up of white tulips. It was a short ceremony. Naging mabilis ang lahat and even their vows were short.

Ryle was to go first. "Liway, babe, it hasn't been that long since our paths crossed. It wasn't the best meeting, but that led us to where we are right now. I know I wasn't the best guy out there. I am far from perfect. I dragged you to my chaotic life when all you wanted was peace. I broke you, hurt you, and ruined some parts of you.

Still, you accepted me wholeheartedly. And for that, I thank you. Babe, you are one, if not the best thing that ever happened to me. You showed what solace felt like when everything was a disaster. You accepted me without judgment when everyone was questioning me. In your arms, I feel safe, I feel like myself and I feel like I don't have to prove anything. For that, I love you.

Nakatingin lang ang si Ryle sa mga mata ng dalaga habang nagsasalita. It was as if he had rehearsed those lines for days. But God knows Ryle wasn't prepared for his vows. He just let every word roll off his tongue as they came from his heart.

Sumunod naman sa wedding vow si Liway. Unlike Ryle, may dala siyang papel na naglalaman ng wedding vow niya. "I'm not really good at this, but I poured my heart into writing my vow for you. "I love you, Mrs. Alvarez," Ryle whispered against her lips.

They took photos at sumunod naman doon ay ang binyag ng mga anak nila. Ryle's band attended too because they are also his family. Ninong ang mga ito. Naging ninang din ng kambal ang girlfriend ni Jackson, si Ness.

AFTER that celebration, everything went according to their ways. Tumulong si Ryle sa pagpapalago ng business ng pamilya ni Liway. After a few months, natapos ang construction ng bagong restaurant nila. They named it afte her father, still Mang Paulo's kainan, but everything has improved. Hindi kagaya ng nauna nilang puwesto, well ventilated na ang lugar. Nagdagdag din sila ng cleaning and kitchen staffs.

Dahil may makakasama na rin sa bahay si Aling Meredith, Liway moved to Ryle's house. Temporary lang ang bahay na iyon dahil nirerenovate pa ang bagong bahay niya. He bought a bigger house and had it renovated so the twins could have their own spaces. Ryle also started his own cafe. Nakiusap siya sa daddy niya na hindi muna siya magtatrabaho sa company nila at magsisimula ng small business na palalaguin niya. Some fans are still waiting for his comeback so he started a YouTube channel were he posted some of his original compositions and some life updates with his wife.

Sa ganitong paraan, mas naging hands-on na asawa at ama si Ryle sa pamilya niya. Unti-unti na ring nabi-build ang relationship niya sa kambal. They already turned one and could utter some words. Ryder's first word was dada, but it did not meant Daddy for the little guy's vocabulary. Sinasabi niya iyon kapag gutom siya at gustong dumede sa ina.

Raya, on the other hand, could stand and take a few steps without help. Tahimik siya kumpara sa kambal niya pero mas active naman physically. She loves her Dad so much that she could not sleep without him singing a lullaby for her sometimes.

As for his wife, naging maayos ang samahan nilang dalawa. They supported each other through thicks and thins. They had the best married life. Dahil maliit pa lang ang mga anak nila, hindi muna sila nag-honeymoon. They decided to save it for the future. Sa ngayon, the present is their focus. They'll make sure they'll be living their best lives together.
