"Ah, hello, Chaewon-ssi, Yoonah-ssi!" The host, Jeon Gunho, greeted you enthusiastically, gesturing for you and Chaewon to take a seat, before clasping his hands together.
You and your older member sat down across from Gunho with wide grins on your faces. For about a week now, you've both been looking forward to this interview. You've heard great things about Gunho and his charismatic personality, and were thrilled to be invited. You and Chaewon were a bit sad that the other girls couldn't join you, but came nonetheless.
"So, before we start, I'm just dying to know! How has this comeback been for you so far? Your first studio album UNFORGIVEN just came out a few days ago, how do you feel?" Gunho asked.
You looked at Chaewon, and she nodded towards you, giving you the signal to answer.
You smiled at Gunho. "We... We have really had a lot of fun preparing this album, and we've all worked super hard, too. And, as always, we are extremely and forever grateful for the opportunity to be LE SSERAFIM and to be with FEARNOT, our lovely fans, and we hope that everyone shows our album love!" You nodded to yourself, satisfied with your answer.
Gunho nodded as well. "Daebak~"
After being asked a few more questions, Gunho looked at you with an excited glint in his bambi eyes. "Yoonah-ssi."
"Yes?" You replied sweetly.
"We heard that you gained a little bit of weight before this comeback. What happened? Did you let yourself go, or...?"
Your eyes widened. You chuckled nervously. "I-"
"And we also heard that you're the least popular member. Why aren't you doing anything about this? It's super important these days to be popular, shouldn't you want to do better? I personally think that you're lacking a bit in visu-"
"Okay, what the fuck?" Chaewon cut him off before he could even finish the word that she knew he was going to say. She was furious with the way that the interviewer was talking to you.
But was he right? You had already been feeling like you were lagging behind a bit in certain areas, but hearing someone actually tell you felt different. If he feels this way, surely your fans could possibly feel this way too, right? Maybe he's right. You've let yourself go a little bit too much. You need to do better.
"Chaewon-ssi, Iisten-"
"No, you listen," she seethed, clenching her fist. "I get that you might have good intentions, but you need to find a better way to word your sentences, because what you just said was extremely offensive, and could have a negative impact on my dongsaeng's self-esteem. She's too young for assholes like you to come in and put her down like that. You have no right to make her feel like that, do you hear me?"
