A few long minutes passed before you tried getting up again. Once you were on your feet, you limped over to the corner of the room, where you found one of Yunjin's jackets that she thankfully left in the studio room. You put it on and put up the hood, looking over at the mirrored wall and making sure that your face, for the most part at least, couldn't be seen.
Once you deemed that you were good to go, you slowly made your way out of the room. You looked around the hallway, listening intently for any footsteps, before carefully stepping out.
You knew where you needed to go. To Kim Eunjin's room.
Kim Eunjin is a producer who works at HYBE, and she has her own studio. You've only spoken to her a few times, but you have nowhere else to go. You definitely can't go to your members; they'd immediately freak out once they see your appearance, and the whole thing will become a big ordeal. You can't risk this getting out. You can't risk your maknae's life just to save your own. You also can't go to your manager; you and your manager are close, practically sisters. If she found out, the girls would find out. As previously stated, you can't risk anything. Kim Eunjin, on the other hand, doesn't know you very well and vice versa. Maybe, just maybe (and hopefully), she'll keep your secret if you tell her why no one can find out. You don't know what to do, seeing as you're only seventeen, but in your mind, she's your best option. You just need somewhere to stay for a little bit. You'll figure everything else out along the way.
When you arrived at her studio, you knocked timidly. After waiting a few moments, the door swung open, making you flinch, and you were met with Eunjin smiling at you. She was dressed in a simple outfit; baggy jeans and a sweater, and a pair of headphones sat snugly around her neck.
Her smile fell as soon as she got a good look at you. She immediately grabbed your hand and led you into her studio, clearly beyond concerned. She shut the door behind her and led you to sit down on the sofa.
She crouched down in front of you and held your trembling hands in her own. "Yoonah-ssi, what happened?!" She questioned frantically. In her thirty years of living, she's never personally seen such awful injuries, especially not on someone she knows. She may not know you all too well, but that didn't stop her heart from hurting at the sight of you.
You hiccuped, beginning to cry all over again. You lowered your head as you sobbed. Eunjin went to cup your cheek, but you flinched away. She got the hint and put her hand back down, biting her lip. She needs to call this in.
She reached for her phone, which you saw, and you immediately grabbed her hand. A moment of tense silence passed.
"Yoonah-ssi, I have to call 911. You've obviously been hurt by someone," Eunjin tried.
You shook your head frantically. "No, Eunjin-unnie! You- You can't! He'll hurt my maknae! He'll hurt my maknae!" You exclaimed.
"Woah, woah, woah, okay, okay," Eunjin soothed, slowly bringing her hand back down again. "Who will hurt your maknae? Who did this to you, can you tell me?" She questioned.
You shook your head. Warm tears trailed down your face. Blood slowly poured from your nose. The collar of your shirt was stained with it.
Eunjin sighed. She stood up and grabbed a tissue, before walking back to you and crouching down. You saw her lift her hand, and instinctively backed away, but she attempted to calm you down. It worked. You allowed her to help clean up the blood on your face.
When she was done and the tissue was thrown away, she looked back at you. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked.
You nodded. "Can I... C-Can I stay with you for a bit? Please, Unnie, my members can't find out about this. And don't tell a single soul about this. Please. I can't lose Eunchae. I just can't," you pleaded quietly.
Eunjin seemed hesitant, but ultimately agreed to your request. "Okay... Okay, you can stay with me for a while. And I..." She sighed. "I won't tell anyone."
No promises, she thought to herself.
After a few beats of silence passed, she helped you stand up. "Come on, I'm taking you to the bathroom to help you clean up. Don't worry, I won't let anyone see you on the way there, and I won't let anyone come in either," she assured you.
You nodded your head. She wrapped an arm around your waist and led you out of the studio and to the restrooms, which were luckily close by. She told you to go in and clean yourself up while she stands watch. You agreed, only after she assured you that nobody would hurt you in there; she wouldn't let it happen.
While she waited for you outside, she quickly pulled out her phone. She went to her messages and pulled up her chat with Chaewon. She wasn't going to call the leader, in fear that you would hear her. She texted Chaewon about everything you told her, and then pocketed her phone.
She felt conflicted with herself after her actions. One part of her felt like maybe she shouldn't have told Chaewon because she didn't have the right to, but another part of her did it for your safety. She couldn't simply sit back and let you get hurt. Sure, she said she'll let you stay with her, but after that, then what? You'll only be vulnerable to get hurt all over again. So she chose the option she felt worked out best and in your favor.
Once you came out of the bathroom, Eunjin wrapped her arm around you again and took you back to her studio. She sat you down again and talked to you for a few minutes, before a knock was heard at the door.
You were sent into a state of panic. The sound was daunting. Who could it be? You only panicked even more when Eunjin got up and went to open the door.
"No!" You screeched.
But it was too late. The door opened to reveal Chaewon standing there.
