You grinned when you saw Sakura step into the dorm. She had been gone all day, away at the company building to do some extra dance practice, even though it was supposed to be all of you guys' day off. You and Sakura were supposed to go get lunch and hang out at a pottery place, but her sudden schedule change prevented that.
Thus, you were excited to have her back home, hoping that maybe you could hang for a few hours-amongst all of the members, you're closest to Sakura.
"Welcome back, Unnie!" You greeted her. You walked up to her and wrapped your arms around her, but were startled when she brushed you off and didn't respond.
You frowned. That was unusual, you thought to yourself, usually she clings to you as well.
She ignored you and walked past you, heading to her bedroom. You trailed behind her.
You decided to try and lighten the mood, which seemed to be down. "Unnie~ what are you gonna make for dinner?" You questioned with a playful smile on your face.
She turned to glare at you as she set her stuff down on her bed, which took you by surprise. She must really be in a bad mood.
"Oh, uh- That's okay, I can take over tonight's dinner!" You exclaimed. You tried to smile, but you were beginning to feel nervous with the way she was looking at you.
"How about this?" She suddenly spoke up. "How about you stop talking to me, get the hell out of my room, and leave me the fuck alone!?" She snapped.
You froze. "I'm s-sor-"
"No, just stop! I'm really not in the mood, just go!"
Your eyes drooped. Tears brimmed your eyes. She's never talked to you like that. You have to admit, it scared you. The bite behind her words bounced around in your head.
Maybe you could try to make her feel better.
"What if I help you-"
"Jin Yoonah!" She screamed. She glared at you with an even harsher gaze, which you didn't think was possible. "Just get. The fuck. Out!"
Since you were standing in the doorway of her bedroom, she shoved you back and then slammed the door in your face.
You're positive that she didn't mean it and only did it in a fit of anger and annoyance, but it didn't stop it from hurting when you tripped over your feet and slammed your shoulder against the wall. You cried out and hissed loudly as you slid to the floor.
Almost immediately, Eunchae emerged from her room. When she saw you on the floor, she rushed to your side.
"Unnie, are you okay, what happened?!" She panicked further when she saw the tears staining your cheeks.
You sniffled loudly, biting your lip to stifle your cries. You took a deep breath after a few moments. "I-I- I was talking to Kkura-unnie after she got home, but... but she was in a bad mood," you explained as you looked into Eunchae's eyes. She nodded, gesturing for you to continue while she tubbed your shoulder. "I must've been annoying her, because she yelled a-at me and- a-and then she pushed me. That's how I got hurt." You couldn't help the cry that slipped past your lips.
Eunchae frowned. "Unnie put her hands on you...?" The maknae questioned slowly.
You hesitated for a moment, but nodded. "I suppose, but it's fine. She was just in a bad mood," you stated. You knew that Eunchae probably wanted to tell Chaewon about this, but you didn't want Sakura to get in trouble.
Eunchae huffed and stood up. "I'll be right back, Unnie." And with that, Eunchae ran off to Chaewon's room.
A few minutes later, Chaewon walked out of her room, approached Sakura's room, and then entered it. She shut the door behind her and then the hallway fell silent. Eunchae came out of Chaewon's room behind her and was quickly by your side again, and the two of you simply sat there in silence. She quietly comforted you.
You lifted your head from the maknae's shoulder when the door to Sakura's bedroom swung open and out walked Sakura, followed by Chaewon. The eldest looked guilty and regretful as she gazed at you. She walked to you and crouched down in front of you.
Eunchae and Chaewon left the hallway and retreated to their own room.
Sakura sat down beside you, a sincere look in her drooping eyes. "I am so sorry, Gom-ah, I should not have pushed you like that, and I also apologize for yelling at you. My day just went worse than I expected, and I ended up taking it out on you. I'm sorry."
You could hear the guilt behind her words.
"It's okay, Unnie," you started. "I know you had a bad day. What you did hurt me, but I can understand. I don't blame you. I just hope it doesn't happen again," you responded.
She nodded her head quickly, pulling you into a hug. She guided your head to rest on her chest. "It won't, I promise. This has never happened before, I don't know what came over me. What can Unnie do to make it better?" She questioned.
You sat in thought for a moment. There wasn't really much that came to mind, until you suddenly had an idea.
You gasped excitedly and clapped your hands, looking up at her. She smiled softly when she saw the stars in your eyes, a warm feeling of fond bubbling up in her chest.
"Ooh! Tomorrow, can we all go to that new water park that just opened up!?" You asked enthusiastically.
Sakura chuckled and nodded. "Of course we can, peach. Anything for you."
