Author's Note: Taking a small break from writing the big, ONESHOT stories, so I'm writing some headcanons to clear my head a bit.

> What They Do When Demon!Reader Is Sad <

Karaku:
~ (Y/N) is upset because one of the Upper Ranks were killed.
~ Not only are you upset about that, but when your father, Muzan, called the Upper Ranks to a meeting, he was PISSED. You felt as though it was your fault that (F/U/R) had died.
~ Once the Upper Rank meeting ended, Karaku hurried to your room to aid your immediately.
~ Lots and lots of screaming, crying and throwing a bit of a tantrum, Karaku trying his best to calm you down... Not wanting to piss off Sekido or your father.
~ "Please stop crying, (Y/N)... I don't like seeing you so upset..."
~ With you being the love demon and him being the pleasure demon... There was a 50/50 chance of guys having sex or not.

Urogi:
~ (Y/N) is upset because one of the Upper Ranks were killed.
~ You hid up in the trees, wanting to get space from everyone. But with his extraordinary hearing, he was able to find you easily, coming to the rescue.
~ You had told him to leave you alone, but he replied with "I don't care how upset you are, I gonna stay until you get better! And nothing's changing my mind."
~ Sometimes if you don't budge, he'll leave to find you some flowers and even a human for you two to devour... After all, you're not you when you're hungry!
~ After he gets you to budge, you both walk through the forest and stargaze.

Sekido:
~ (Y/N) is upset because one of the Upper Ranks were killed.
~ He is annoyed by your constant crying. So he gets the other three to comfort you, which doesn't work.
~ After days of crying and blaming yourself for (F/U/R)'s death, Sekido was on his last nerve. "Stop crying already!" He then pulls you in for a tight hug. You didn't expect this...
~ "Stop crying. It enrages me knowing that you're upset." When hugging you, he pats your head for comfort.
~ He makes you cookies (or at least tries to, when Urogi and Karaku don't eat them all).

Aizetsu:
~ (Y/N) is upset because one of the Upper Ranks were killed.
~ Because he is always is a state of sorrow, he understands how you feel.
~ He cries alongside you, in which Urogi and Karaku NOW have to be the ones to cheer the two of you up.
~ You lay down and stargaze together while talking about your feelings. Will sometimes find an open area and read a book together.
~ "It's okay to cry. It may seem weak to the others, but I understand your pain..."

Zohakuten:
~ (Y/N) is upset because one of the Upper Ranks were killed.
~ "It happens." He would say. Even though he was ever so slightly concerned that he would be next, he'd never let it show.
~ "You'll get over it. Stop being so upset." But you never did...
~ The others in his head (mainly Urogi and Karaku) told him to apologize...
~ "I'm sorry you cry so much..." Eh... You'll take his half-assed apology.

> What They Do When Human!Reader Is Sad <

Karaku:
~ (Y/N) is upset because a demon (that wasn't any of the clones) had killed a family member/a close friend of yours
~ As you sat in your house crying, the clones had come to visit you in the evening (like they normally do) but see that you are crying
~ Being the most relaxed amongst the four, Karaku decides to step up to help comfort you
~ Kisses and strokes the top of your hand as you vent to him
~ "Is there anything I can do to make you feel better? I may not be able to bring them back, but at least let me try to ease the pain."
~ Can sometimes lead to sex (but only if you ask and you're up to it)

Urogi:
~ (Y/N) is upset because a demon (that wasn't any of the clones) had killed a family member/a close friend of yours
~ One night when he was out flying he heard you crying and immediately rushed to your place to see what was the matter
~ "Don't cry, (Y/N)... Whatever is troubling you, I'm here to help you get through it!... Now where's that beautiful smile I love so much?"
~ Walks through the forest, trying to find a patch of flowers for you two to lay in
~ Nighttime flights through the sky
~ "It's okay, (Y/N). You'll get to see them again someday. Maybe not in this life... But another..."

Sekido:
~ (Y/N) is upset because a demon (that wasn't any of the clones) had killed a family member/a close friend of yours
~ Because he is a demon, he doesn't understand human emotions that well
~ At first, he thought you were on your human period... So he didn't care about your mood swings that much
~ However, when he found out why you were sad, he almost babied you... Giving you stuff (that you usually didn't need), he was "nicer" (or at least, your definition of nicer) and always spoke in a quiet voice 
~ "Whoever did this... I'll kill them for upsetting my (Y/N)..."

Aizetsu:
~ (Y/N) is upset because a demon (that wasn't any of the clones) had killed a family member/a close friend of yours
~ Because he is always is a state of sorrow, he understands how you feel. But since you are human, he has some confusion about a few things
~ Holds you while you cry in his arms. You eventually fall asleep
~ Cuddles you, while stroking your hair
~ "I may not understand most human emotions... But sadness is something I'm familiar with. So let me make you feel better..."

Zohakuten:
~ (Y/N) is upset because a demon (that wasn't any of the clones) had killed a family member/a close friend of yours
~ Not much help when comforting you... Saying that "The demon who did this was only helping themselves... Don't be so selfish..."
~ You ignored him after that, and he was pissed the hell off
~ After several days of the silent treatment... He snapped. "Don't ignore me, (Y/N)! I'm sorry I pissed you off!" It wasn't the most sympathetic apology, but since he never apologizes, you accepted it
