"YOU TRICKED ME," I said in full irritation, but he didn't even mind how annoyed I was and kept smiling at me. He looks like a fool smiling, and it irritates me to the bone.

My focus was only with the boy who carried my bag and also my annoying seatmate.

When recess came, I saw Kuya A leaning on our room's door frame. Agad akong tumakbo sa kaniya para magsumbong. "Kuya, Kuya, he keeps annoying me." I told him pointing at Zealous.

Kuya, older than him, strolled with a grim look. "Who are you?" he asked, scaring him to the bone. I just smirked when I saw his knees shake.

"I-I am Zealous Youndrei Del Mundo Minreal, the class president." He introduces himself nervously. With his response, Kuya went closer to him until Kuya's face was just beside his. He whispered something my ears couldn't grasp, but my smirk grew wider when I saw how Zealous paled.

"Y-yes..." He shakily answered, agreeing to whatever Kuya A said but stopped when he was unsure how to address my Kuya.

"Kuya A," Kuya told him, using his extraordinary talent for reading minds which he started teaching me a few days ago.

"Yes, Kuya A." He spoke again like an obedient dog.

"Good," Kuya said with finality before he faced me.

"He can take care of you. I know well it's not in his nature to annoy you. His blood is still half of a Del Mundo, after all." Kuya said meaningfully to me, like there's something he knows about him that I don't. It looks like he knew Zealous' background so well, like the back of his hand.

After giving me another thing to be bothered about, Kuya A left while pulling the ears of my two other Kuyas, who were enjoying the attention from the ladies in our room. I smiled a bit because of their playfulness, but my attention returned to Zealous when I heard him sit forcefully on his chair.

I know too well Kuya A threatened him but he won't trust someone in an instant like what he just did to Zealous.

Mama helped me prepare two sets. I answered before pushing one closer to him.

"So, am I your friend now?" He teased me while grabbing one of the sandwiches I offered.

"Ah, ayaw mo ba?

However, he was again smiling like a fool while eating the food I offered. Ugh, his smile is really irritating.

From that day, Zea (as what he prefers for me to call him) became the most constant person in my life. We became inseparable which something greatly influenced by Kuya A's threat to him.
