37. Happiness !!

Everyone was sitting in the auditorium today for an event where Haseena was going to receive an award.

Rajveer was sitting on a chair looking worried but no one knows why. Meanwhile, Karishma's face was glowing with happiness.

Meera: Karishma haseena se khushi toh tumhare chahre se jhalak rahi hai aakhir baat kyaa hai.

Mishri takes to corner said something to her.

Meera: kyaa !!! Yeh...yeh nahi ho mishri Karishma ko rok de haseena ka dil phir se jeetne mein kahi woh usse hamesha k liye hi na haar de.

Karishma:(comes towards them) aapko Aisa kahe lagta hai !?

Meera: Karishma meh haseena ke sath bachpan se hi aur phale kabhi bhi...

Karishma:(cuts her between) relax ma'am phale ki baat alag thi phale hum unke sath nahi the lekin aaj...Aaj aur aane wale haar samay mein hum unke sath unke har ek kadam par sath honge....unhe khush rakhna chahte hai unki Khushi issi mein hai.

Meera:(being worried for both of them) Karishma tum samajh nahi rahi ho agad baazi palat gayi toh !?

Karishma: negative sochna hi kyu hai ma'am aur trust me hum inte sure hai toh koi n koi wajah jarur hogi na just bharosha rakhiye humpe pyaar karte hai haseena jii se ab galti se unhe hurt karne ke baare mein soch nahi sakte !!!

Karishma assures her with her words but she herself was tense about her plan.

Meera goes towards rajveer while Mishri assured Karishma through eyes Karishma too nodded with weak smile and they diverted their attention on stage where award ceremony was about to start.

"Before we start our ceremony I would like to welcome Mr. Adil Malik on stage as chief guest.

Everyone looks at door, Adil comes with warming smile on his face while everyone including teacher welcome him though clap.

"Welcome sir !!"

Adil nodded with smile and sits besides rajveer.

Rajveer was too much happy to know his father is infront of his eyes sitting next to him. Right now he was on 9th say...he looks at Meera thought moist eyes and nodded with smile and he smile too.

When Haseena, who was standing at the back, heard Adil's name, her heart skipped a beat. She couldn't understand if Adil was really there in front of her or if it was just a dream that was about to be shattered again.

With tears in her eyes and a smile on her lips, Haseena was walking towards her father without thinking anything.

Meera stops her before she could go on stage.

Meera: haseena sambhal khud ko hum college mein hai.

Haseena:(looks at her with brimmed eyes) Meera abbu !! Abbu sach mein aaye yaha.

Meera:(smiles then looks at Karishma) pata hai kyu !? Sirf tujhe yeh award dene !!

Haseena: Meera sach mein woh heina hum...hum koi sapna toh nahi dekh rhe na ??

Meera: relax haseena abbu sach mein hai aur sirf tere liye hi aaye hai tu Rona bandh kar aur award Lena h unke hatho se tera bachpan se Jo sapna tha woh finally sach ho raha (haseena nodded in yess) tujhe khush hone chahiye na Rona nahi hai heina.

Haseena nodded and wipes her tears.

Haseena felt a mixture of emotions seeing him after so many years was overwhelming.

After announcement haseena walks upto him.

As she stood in front of him, Haseena could see that her father was feeling weak and vulnerable. He didn't even look at her as he handed her the award, but she could feel his warmth and love in his smile. A long tear escaped from her eyes as she realized how much she had missed him and how much she loved him.
