FIVE:
PRANKSTERS

    Elsie woke up the next morning feeling fulfilled. The previous night had been so exciting and overwhelming that as soon as she had changed into her nightwear she fell asleep. Her inside were still warm from the feast and the girl found herself anxiously awaiting the days classes.

    Elsie climbed out of bed to see her roommates, Hermione, Lavender, Pavarti, and Morgan still sound asleep. Taking a quick glance out the window Elsie realized that the sun was still slowly rising above the forbidden forest. Suddenly Elsie got the desperate urge to feel the grass beneath her feet.

    Wasting no time the girl threw on her school uniform which consisted of a black thigh length skirt, a white button up shirt, and her red and gold tie. Not bothering to put on her back school cloak Elsie put on her shoes grabbed her school bag and quietly walked down the stairs and into the common room.

    There were a few older students writing or reading on the comfy arm chairs but other than that the room was empty.

    "And where are you off to so early?" A voice asked causing the girl to jump as she exited the portrait.

    It was Fred and George Weasley. "Just going for a walk." Elsie smiled shifting her hold on her bag.

    "I wouldn't go that way if I were you," One of the twins called out as she started down a hallway.

    "We just saw Peeves down there," He explained.

    "Who?" Elsie asked confused.

    "Peeves is one of the ghosts here, he likes to make people miserable." Fred said walked on one side of her.

    "He plays dirty tricks, but I guess we can't exactly be talking huh Freddie?" George joked from her other side.

    The boys shared a laugh, "Say," Fred started, "It might be good for you to make a name for yourself,"

    "Yeah, why don't you come along with us?" George offered.

    "What are you gonna do?" Elsie asked curiously.

    "Nothing too harmful don't worry. We'll probably just give Filch a start of term present," Fred shrugged.

    Elsie thought about wandering on her own outside, what once sounded nice and peaceful now just felt boring.

    "Sounds fun," The girl grinned.

    "Good answer, follow us!" George laughed dashing off down the corridor, Fred at his heels.

    Elsie let out a laugh as she chased after them without a care in the world. Soon the group grew tired and fell to a walk.

    "So Elsie, any ideas for a bloody awesome prank?" Fred asked the girl.

    "Uhm- no," Elsie frowned thinking hard. She hadn't ever pranked anyone before.

    "S' alright, we have plenty, right Fred?" George grinned.

    "Right you are George," Fred grinned back.

    They suddenly fell to a stop and pulled out their wands. "Here's the plan, any minute now Filch, the schools caretaker, will walk out of those doors like he does every morning."

    "We are gonna cast a spell that will trigger when Filch passes this portrait," Fred pointed at a picture of a wizards feasting around a table.

    "The spell will make his skin turn different colors," George laughed, the image Elsie created in her mind of the old school caretaker turning the colors of the rainbow was enough to make her join in.
