TWENTY-FIVE:
HOLD ON

The morning of September 11th was a blur. Despite setting numerous alarms everyone woke up late, causing the day to set off in a panic.

After gathering the trunks and rushing down to Kings Cross Station in the familiar blue car, they finally made it to platform 9 and 3/4s.

"10:58, come on, come on!" Mr. Weasley urged, as the 9 ran through the station.

"Fred, George, Percy, you first!" Mrs. Weasley ordered once they stopped at the platform.

"See you on the other side," Fred grinned before following the other two into the wall.

Once they were through Mrs. Weasley pated Ginny on the back, "Lets go dear," The three ran through leaving Harry, Ron, and Elsie behind.

"We better hurry," Elsie said grabbing ahold of her cart. The boys followed her lead, "Lets go,"

Harry ran first followed by Elsie then Ron. But instead of going through the wall like normal, Harry crashed into it.

The boy went flailing into the brick, causing a loud clamor to follow. Elsie was barely able to stop from her run, allowing her to stay upright.

That is until Ron rammed into her with his cart causing the girl to go flying over the trunks and land on Harry. Soon after Ron landed on her, causing her to be smushed between the two.

Elsie groaned in pain as she rose to her feet. She would definitely gain some bruises from the impact.

"Oy! What do you three think you're doing?" A station agent called out noticing the ruckus they had caused.

"Sorry, l-lost control of the trolly," Harry lied nervously. Luckily the station agent didn't press, instead he sauntered off, shaking his head disapprovingly.

"Whats happened, why can't we get through?" Elsie turned to the boys once he was gone.

"I don't know," Ron knocked against the bricks proving they were solid, "The gateways sealed itself for some reason,"

"You guys, the time!" Harry exclaimed. Right as he spoke the clock chimed 11.

    They had missed the train.

Ron swallowed in fright before saying, "If we can't get through, then maybe my mum and dad can't get back,"

"Maybe we should just go wait by the car," Harry offered.

"The car," Ron trailed off in thought. It didn't take Elsie long to guess what he was thinking, "Absolutely not."

"How else are we going to get to school?" Ron exclaimed, beginning to walk back the way they had come.

"We can owl someone, or wait for your mum and dad," Elsie grunted struggling to keep up with Rons longs legs.

""What are you two on about?" Harry asked cluelessly.
