TWENTY-ONE:
THE PERFECT PLAN

Elsie had always loved summer holiday. No school, no worries. Just relaxation and fun.

But when the girl had received her Hogwarts letter inviting her back for second year, she was surprised to find that she was actually excited for school to start.

All summer long she had been owling her friends. And though Harry hadn't responded, which slightly bruised her ego, and Daphne asked for no letters, she was thrilled for the chance to get to see everyone in person again.

A few weeks ago the Weasley's had sent over a letter, (overloaded with stamps), inviting Elsie to come stay with them for the rest of the holiday.

And after some mild begging, her foster parents Mr. And Mrs. Greene agreed.

Now Elsie was patiently waiting with her trunks for the red head family to come pick her up.

"Do you have everything you need dear?" Mrs. Greene questioned.

"Yes," Elsie sighed, she was pretty sure they had already had this conversation a million times.

"Don't forget your Pepper Spray!" Mr. Greene called jokingly. He had been very proud to learn about how Elsie had used it last term.

"Oh stop it," Mrs. Greene sent him a glare. When the two found out about the danger Elsie had been in they were hesitant to send her back for another year.

But after learning of Elsie's heroics they were not only proud, but found it quite amusing as well.

"But seriously dear, please be careful. No more sneaking off to fight evil wizards," Mrs. Greene sighed.

"I won't, don't worry. Besides, we already defeated Voldemort, this year will be way better." Elsie grinned shifting her hold on her bag.

It was considerably more heavy this year since she had decided to bring more clothes. She also had decided to bring a mini speaker, which might sound dumb sure, but sometimes the dorms got boring, and besides, after owling Fred and George they all agreed that it could be used in an awesome prank.

"I think this is them," Mr. Greene called from the window.

Sure enough a blue Ford Anglia pulled into their driveway. Elsie shot up from her chair with joy and dashed out the door, eager to see her friends.

Ron climbed out of the car first, Elsie tackled him into a hug taking note to his growth spurt.

"Elsie!" Ron cheered hugging her back. "You haven't changed a bit,"

"I think she got shorter actually," A voice said from behind. Elsie turned and saw one of the twins, Fred- no George, grinning down at them.

    "Definitely," Fred nodded.

Elsie laughed and hugged both the twins. "Good to see you lot,"

"Elsie, you look absolutely wonderful!" Mrs. Weasley smiled opening her arms and smushing the girl in a warm embrace.

Mr. Weasley was off to the side introducing himself to the Greenes.
