Ai and (Y/n) were walking beside each other. A week had passed since she had drank for the first time. She managed to get all her homework and essay done, despite the fact she spent the entirety of that Saturday hungover at (Y/n)'s house. Thankfully, neither he nor his mom suspected a thing. She really was a good liar. She bounced down the street, getting a few paces ahead of him. Happy that she got to spend time with her friend instead of having to study… again.

"I still can't believe you convinced me to do this…"

(Y/n) groaned despite him wanting to go over her homework and finish it, she managed to convince her friend to spend the remainder of that day out with her. Ai, twirled around, her skirt spinning with her to face him, she then winked at him and stuck her tongue out of the corner of her mouth.

"Because I'm so irresistible~"

Ai's tone was more teasing and flirty. This, combined with her skirt twirl and facial expression caused her friend to blush and turn away, flushed by her teasing nature.

"Yeah… right I forgot."

Ai let out a giggle as she continued to lead him towards their destination. An Arcade. (Y/n) looked at Ai, confused. Her eyes beaming as she looked inside the room was darker, neon pantaloons providing an almost club-like feel to the place. Ai looked over her shoulder at him.

"You got the Yen, right?"

"Yeah… I've got it."

"Give some here, so I can get food if I get hungry."

Rolling his eyes, (Y/n) handed her some Yen, which she smiled at. The pair began to walk around the Arcade, playing games, and just having fun. Ai was drawing him from game to game, which he didn't see much of an issue with. Ai let out a squeal as she led him to a rhythm game. It was two players, a versus game.

"Come on (Y/n)! Let's play this one!"

"Sure. Though we both know who will win this one…"

"I know, I want an ego boost!"

Ai let out a giggle. (Y/n) put money into the game, which started a countdown. (Y/n) may be her friend, but he wanted to bring his friend's ego into check. He prepared himself to try his best. The countdown counted down.

Three...

Two...

One...

Start!

When the game began, it started to bring down arrows pointing to the direction their feet needed to hit on the pad. The duo began to Duke it out. (Y/n) thought he was doing well. His feet hit the panels with good timing and accuracy. Meanwhile Ai, being in an Idol group whose debut was that night, was basically perfect with her footwork, though minor errors and slight timing errors were made. By the end of it, (Y/n) was panting, though he still got a decent score. When he stepped off the panel and looked at Ai's score, he was dumb founded. She had a hundred thousand more points than he did. She smirked at him, clearly proud of her landslide victory. He chuckled as he rubbed her head.

"Good job Ai. I forgot how good you were at dancing. You'll do great as an Idol."

Her face turned red. The usually teasing and confident Ai was put on the backfoot from the sudden praise.

"W-well of course I will! I'm me after all!"

Ai tried to regain her confident demeanor, but her stutter gave it all away. (Y/n) began to laugh slightly. Ai pouted as she tried to get mad at him, but his laughter only increased. She felt her heart skip a beat. She didn't know but her chest fluttered almost everything she was with him. It wasn't long before she started to laugh with him, her blush still present on her face.
