Footsteps echoed through the halls, Kana Arima's feet impacted the ground. The reason it was so auditable was due to the fact there was only her, a boy and another pair of girls who were talking in the hallway at the moment. Well… there was one other person…

"Glossy, well-kept hair..."

Kana kept her pace as she passed the Trio of students, though one of the girls with long brown hair noticed her and smiled.

"Kana!"

Kana spun around as she saw the group and smiled back at them.

"Innocent, soft features…"

"Oh hey, Aoi, Hanako, how are you two?"

"Clueless airhead type…"

Ruby muttered to herself as she peaked out from her corner to look at the three girls talking, whilst the boy seemed to be watching the three. Staying silent as to not interpret their conversation.

"You know… As a long term Idol fan myself, I can tell she'd be really popular with the die-hards."

"That doesn't exactly sound like high praise. Isn't it good that she'll be popular? Why not just ask her?"

Ruby turned to face her brother, though she seemed hesitant to act on his advice.

"You've got a point… But like, I have this strained relationship with Shortie, you know?"

"Do you?"

Her brother's seeming unbothered, and his monotone voice really pissed off Ruby as she flared up again, clenching both her fists to her chest.

"Don't you think she's kinda mean to me?!"

"Maybe because you keep bringing up the baking soda thing. Anyway, I'll get her to come. Just try to talk to her. If you don't  think things will go well with her, then we can go look elsewhere. Oh… and try to be civil about it."

"Of course I will Aqua! Who do you take me for!?"

Aqua had begun typing out his text to Kana as he looked up and narrowed his eyes at his sister.

"Do I really have to answer that question?"

"Shut up you jerk!"

Kana was scrolling through Twitter after classes. She was Ego surfing, looking at tweets about Sweet Today. Through her eyes landed on a tweet from Funky Ponkichi, which made her stop scrolling.

"After watching it again, I could really tell that Kana Arima's performance was so much better than the rest."

Kana smiled as she read the comment a second time before she moved onto the next tweet, which made her smile drop.

"The actor who played the stalker was hella creepy and I absolutely hate him, but on closer inspection, he's actually pretty cute so I'm kind of torn…"

Kana's eyes widened as read the comment, remembering when they shot the last episode. Aqua acted like a completely different person and someone else calling him cute…

It left a bad taste in her mouth.

She put a hand to her check and blushed just thinking about Aqua made her into a flustered mess.

Though a notification from her phone broke her out of her thoughts, clicking it on instinct. Her screen took a moment to load before she saw her texts with Aqua. But she was focused on the message he just sent.

"I have something important to tell you. Can you make some time for me after school?"

Kana let out a gasp. She stared at the text for a moment as her face flushed red. Was he… was he going to confess? She quickly sent a reply that she would meet him at the playground near the school, since it was on her way home.
