“What?! You’re going to be in a show, Aqua?!”
Ruby was surprised by this revelation, Aqua glared at Miyako.
“Why’d you go ahead and tell her?”
“Because you definitely wouldn’t have told her yourself… It’s an agency’s job to advertise their talent’s activities”
“Well at least you didn’t tell mom…”
Then, suddenly the door to the room flung open as Ai raced to her son’s side, her eyes shining up at him as she practically jumped up and down.
“Aqua! You’re acting again.”
Aqua slowly turned his head towards Miyako who chuckled at him as she waved her hand.
“She got the text about fifteen minutes ago.”
“Great…”
Ruby was silent as it dawned on her. She smiled up at Aqua, which caught his attention.
“What is it?”
“Well… do you remember what Papa said? He said I could become an Idol with mom, and he said you could become a great actor… I thought you had forgotten that…”
It was nothing like that, Kana and now Ruby had come up with this idea that his intentions were pure, but in reality, if it got him closer to finding Ryosuke and the one behind it all, he would gladly do anything to find those two. This wasn’t because of his father’s dying wish, or his dreams. All he wanted was information…
No matter how he got it…
“What’s the show called?”
“It’s ‘I’ll have it Sweet Today', it’s an adaptation of a romance manga.”
Ruby nearly squealed as she walked up to Myiako’s computer as the pair looked at the title screen.
“Sweet Today? I’ve read it before! It was pretty good, I found it in Aqua’s room!”
“Wait… who said you could borrow it?”
“It seems like it was produced by a newly established TV Station… Three out of the six episodes have already aired. Seems like the majority of the main cast is made up of rookies, so it’s a pretty low scale production. Apparently Aqua’s only showing up in the last episode as the main villain.”
“That totally suits him! If you ask me, he’s got the perfect villain face.”
“Shut it.”
Aqua looked annoyed at the two women, Ai noticing her grumbling son giggled as she patted him on the head.
“Things just aren’t going your way today, huh?”
“That’s one way to put it…”
Myiako chuckled at Aqua for a moment before turning back to her computer and looked at the show
“The show’s a web series, so we can watch it now if you’d like.”
“Yeah! Let’s watch it! Come on mom!”
Ai smiled as she walked over to the desk, pulling out a chair so she could sit down. Watching the first episode, it started off strong as Kana opened the episode.
“Oh, it’s shortie!”
Ruby said, Aqua decided to take a look but as the scene shifted to when Kana met the main protagonist, Aqua frowned.
“Hey you, is it fun being gloomy twenty-four seven?”
“What do you want?”
At this point Aqua was fed up and walked away, even if he wasn’t doing this show for his own pleasure, he still cringed on how bad the performance was.
