Chapter Thirty-Four: Actor's Abilities

Aqua sat in a room with his five other cast members. Was he really doing this? Being in a dating show? He felt as if this was way out of his league. He never saw girls in any kind of romantic light. He had no needs he needed to take care of first before he could even consider things like that ... he had much more important things to worry about.

Aqua was completely out of his element, obviously he wasn't good with the whole "dating" aspect of the show but he also needed to act like a normal teenager, which he certainly wasn't in several different ways.

Well he supposed that wasn't completely true, he couldn't act like himself. He had to put on a mask. Otherwise the show wouldn't do well... He had to do his best in order to get the information he needed from Kaburagi.

"Let's get started so we can move onto filming."

A producer announced, which caught the attention of everyone in the group. With a tablet in hand he glanced down at it for a moment, his eyes scanning the screen before looking up at the six of them.

"All of you can just freely talk to each other. However please watch for the fixed camera's viewing angle. If possible, when the cameraman gets close, we'd appreciate it if you could talk in a way that summarizes the conversation you were just having."

All of them seemed to understand, though Aqua heard the sound of a pencil running across paper in front of him. He looked towards Akane, where the noise was coming from. Was she talking notes?

"That about covers it, you know your first pairings, so let's get to work."

"Okay!"

Everyone responded as they all got up and got into pairs. Aqua stayed sitting, looking over all of them. Memcho looked at him and bent over, smirking at the actor.

"Come on Aqua~ We got some filming to do!"

"And this here is my doggo!"

Memcho showed Aqua her phone. The pair sat on a bench in the courtyard, the cameras were on them, making sure they had footage for the episode. Aqua smiled as he looked at Memcho's dog, it looked up at the camera as it held a ball in his mouth, they seemed to be at some sort of dog park.

"I see."

Aqua said he really didn't feel that way... but he had to put on an act for the camera's he needed to please Kaburagi to get what information he needed from the man.

"Look how cute he is~"

"Yeah he's super cute!"

Aqua put his elbow on metal rest on the bench, supporting his chin with his fist as he laughed along with Memcho, who seemed to be having a great time.

"Look how cute his butt is when he's eating!"

In reality, Aqua was board, this was torture, having to have a vapid teen conversation, where all they did was agree to eachother... How could people watch this and enjoy it?

Being forced to look at the dog, as it ate, wasn't the worst thing... if Ruby was in his place, she would probably be freaking out about the dog... She would actually enjoy being in this conversation, since she seemed to enjoy these kinds of conversations with her friends. Why was he the one who had to go through this?

His eye turned black as Memcho began to scroll through her gallery again, looking for more pictures to show him. Well... he supposed he just had to deal with it so he could get the information about Ai... both to find Ryosuke or get a hint of the mastermind behind it all. And to quench his own burning curiosity if she committed adultery... He didn't know why it piqued his curiosity so much but it did.
