“That’s quite the interesting name you’ve got there….”
Even though the two were in separate interview rooms, and applying for different departments, both interviews were going well, Ruby was out in no time at all, very pleased with herself. Aqua on the other hand…
“You have a standard score of seventy! Why’d you apply here when the average is forty?!”
A woman asked Aqua, quite shocked that he chose this school over any other. Though his score wasn’t that unbelievable, he took after his father with being a studyholic and he also passed the entrance exam for theTokyo National Medical University in his previous life.
“I was charmed by the school’s spirit…”
“Our school spirit appealed to you that much!?”
Aqua walked up to Ruby who was looking out the window, she seemed happy, she must have done well.
“How’d it go?”
“It went great… I think… when I brought up Strawberry Productions they seemed really ecstatic and really seemed to like me after that.”
“Mom’s helping you even now? Great…”
Ruby glared at Aqua while putting a hand to her chest and smirking at him.
“Well, just like mom, I have talent! I’ve got this irresistible aura that she has!”
“Will you two stop it with that already? Your ego is already too big as it is…”
“Hey! I do not have an ego!”
A red haired girl walked past the two and glanced at them for a moment. Freshmen? They were too loud... didn't they know their voices echo in confided spaces?
“Anyway, how did it go for you?”
“No problems, in the unlikely event I am rejected, my name is probably to blame…”
Ruby laughed as she smirked at her brother’s misfortune.
“Well it is Aquamarine Hoshino, after all! It’s such a pain to say everyone just calls you Aqua… How unfortunate that mom decided to give you such a terrible name~”
“Aqua..?”
The red haired girl stopped at Ruby’s words, as the two Hoshino’s turned to look at the girl as she turned around to look at the two. Her eyes widened as she pointed at Aqua.
“Aqua Hoshino!?”
The sudden shout stunned the two siblings. Aqua took a step back as the red haired girl came towards him and got a bit too close for his liking.
“Aqua?! Aqua?! You’re Aqua Hoshino?!”
“Who... are you again?”
Aqua asked, not recognising the girl who clearly knew who he was, which annoyed the girl slightly but she felt herself shrink at the fact she wasn’t remembered by him. Ruby’s eyes suddenly shot up looking at the girl.
“Oh, aren’t you that genius child actor who can slurp up baking soda just like that?”
“No! I’m the genius child actor who can cry in ten seconds flat!”
She shouted at Ruby before turning back to Aqua.
“We were in the film together, remember!? I’m Kana Arima!”
