Chapter Ten: "Perfect" Date

(Y/n) looked up at Ai confused. A date? She couldn't be serious.

"Come on Ai... Go sit down or lay down... let me take care of the kids."

Ai pouted as she looked down at her Boyfriend. Was he really still wanting to work after doing so much? Well she wouldn't let that happen. He deserved a break.

"Ruby and Aqua aren't even here, Yui took them about ten minutes ago. Now get up, we've got a long day ahead of us!"

She exclaimed as she exited the room leaving (Y/n) confused. Though as he got up and got dressed. He began to think. Why would his mother take the kids? Was she getting paid for this?

Meanwhile, Yui was still in the parking lot cooing over her two grandchildren. She smiled as she held Ruby up in the air, who was giggling like crazy as Aqua began to whine, putting her granddaughter down, Yui picked up her grandson.

"You want uppies too, Aqua?"

Without waiting for a response she put him up in the air, at a fast pace, though not fast enough to scare or hurt the baby. Aqua started to laugh and giggle, enjoying the attention he was getting from his grandmother.

(Y/n) had finished getting dressed. She was right. No one was there, just him and Ai. Though she seemed to be putting on a disguise. She was serious about this, huh?

"(Y/n)! You ready? We're gonna have a lot of fun today!"

She asked, grabbing onto his arm, smiling up at him. Which earned her a raised eyebrow.

"What's with all the lovey dovey stuff today?"

He asked, she portrayed a mischievous look on her face, as she giggled at him.

"Well, can't I be extra loving to my boyfriend who worked hard for us, besides I wanted to give you a treat for all your work."

(Y/n) hummed as he looked at her. Finally seeming on board with the whole date idea.

"Never said that you couldn't, but where are we going first?"

"You'll see~"

Ai was walking around Tokyo (Y/n) following behind her, still unaware of where they were going. Ai hummed as she made a sudden right turn, (Y/n) turned the corner and saw an Aquarium.

Ai went forward towards the entrance, walking in long, animated strides. (Y/n) was walking up beside her.

"So your idea of a date is the aquarium?"

(Y/n) asked amused. Ai pouted at him, rolling her eyes.

"I'm on a budget, and I heard this was a nice relaxing place to have a date."

"From who?"

Ai rolled her eyes as she led him into the aquarium. Paying for their tickets before (Y/n) could even pull out his card. He wanted to protest but Ai beat him to it.

"This is a treat for you, you don't get to pay for me today."

(Y/n) hesitantly nodded as he felt Ai grasp his hand and lead them into the Aquarium. She looked at all the marine life with wonder giggling as she led (Y/n) through the tubes of the underwater sections. Looking at all the fish and other creatures swimming about.

"So beautiful..."

She muttered, truly entranced by a group of fish swimming across the top of the dome like structure. Kids watched the marine life as well. Which only made him think of their own kids.

"When they're older, we should bring Aqua and Ruby here."

He muttered. Ai nodded, agreeing with his thoughts. As she looked on towards the fish.
