Ruby sat at her desk, it was nearing the end of the school day. She was facing a massive predicament... One that threatened to upend her entire day so far...
She had nothing to do...
Glancing towards her friend, Minami, who was browsing her phone. Her eyes shifted to an empty desk. She frowned, turning back to her friend.
"Frill's not here today either, huh?"
"I mean, she did say she was filmin' a new drama, after all. She's probably busy, no?"
"Yeah what about you, Minami?"
"I have a shoot today after school."
"I see..."
She looked disappointed as she looked down. She wasn't used to this. Used for her friends being busy after school. Sure some of them had sports, or other things, but at least a few were able to go do stuff with her...

Her expression stayed the same as she looked at the board. Aqua was out filming for Love Now again... It left a bad taste in her mouth. She and Kana had a group 'meeting'... If you could even call it that.
"Aqua's out filming today too..."
She turned to Kana, who was reading a book while laying on the couch. She knew that Kana wasn't the most busy person in the industry, so she must know how to kill time.
"Kana, you're used to not having work, right? What do you usually do?"
"Quiet before I give you a brain rattling jab to the jaw..."
Ruby seemed unfazed by the threat, which caused Kana to sigh, looking away from her book and at the young girl who had unceremoniously insulted her career.
"Use this time to study, while you can. Idols have short careers, and on top of that, are earning peanuts, even if they're popular. Your future's more secure if you do something now to get into a good university, just in case."
"You sure don't beat around the bush..."
"And you sure know how to get on my nerves..."
Ruby rolled her eyes as she turned away from Kana, who had long since returned to her book to continue reading.
"Is there really nothing we can do, right now?"
Ruby asked. Kana suddenly shut her book, glaring at Ruby for a moment. She wasn't getting the quiet she wanted to study with her asking a question every other second. Might as well get them out of the way now so she could actually study.
"Newly formed Idol groups usually perform at small venues and take on media jobs from time to time."
Grabbing a pillow from the couch, she set it down on the end of the couch, so she could lay down more comfortablely now that she didn't have to read.
"We don't even have a group name, let alone a new song. Of course there's nothing we can do right now..."
"We don't have a group name because your not cooperating!"
Ruby shouted as she slammed her hand on the white board, her angry glare so fierce it could pierce the heavens. Kana didn't bother to look at Ruby, though she could feel the intensity of the glare from behind her.
"I mean, if we have a name, then it's going to feel official. I'm not quite ready to call myself an Idol yet."
"You signed the goddamned contract! What could be more official than that?! Besides, 'Kana Arima, the Idol' has a nice ring to it."
