Olivia went to Jared's and unsurprisingly according to the information that she had gotten earlier, he wasn't there very often anymore.

Then she raced over to Paul's after borrowing the car from Mrs. Cameron, who was happy to lend it to her after Olivia had shown her newly acquired driver's license and had also assured her that Charlie himself had been the one who had been personally teaching her how to drive.

"Lahote!" Olivia hollered loudly and just as loudly now, she was banging on the door as she was shaking her head. Olivia tried the door knob and it was unlocked.

Pff, not really any surprises there.

Mr. Lahote never gave a shit about security, he was too busy drowning in his liquor most of the time now, ever since Paul's mother had dropped him off when he was five years old and had never come back except for one other time.

To drop off the baby that was now the younger-looking and much younger-acting than she was, the 11 year old Remy. Not that her father even cared, she was most often at the Clearwaters' or at Jared's.

Sometimes she even hung out at the Uley place, but she had a real bond with Seth and Leah that could not be underestimated. The only bond that could rival it, would perhaps be her bond with her older brother Paul. It was clear whether they had the same dad or not, Remy would die for Paul and it was the same way with Paul for her.

Olivia walked into the house and she saw that Mr. Lahote was passed out with bottles all around him and then Olivia was shaking her head as she was walking into the back.

"Paul?" She asked and then when she knocked on the bedroom door, she pushed it open and found it messy and empty.

Olivia was shaking her head as she left it open to hopefully air out the stench in the room, as she walked back through the house and she was shaking her head.

Olivia left the door wide open behind her, since frankly now, she was just hoping that someone went in and stole all of his liquor to sober him up for a change.

Olivia skipped the Ateara house entirely, frankly just to avoid Old Quil and the most probably still pissed-off Mrs. Ateara as she was driving down the road to the Black house.

Olivia had only just parked the car in the rough driveway, when she saw him. It was a retreating back now, that was going into the woods and Olivia was hopping out of the car and she took off running after him.

Thankfully, Olivia's constantly ruthless training, fighting on the weekends and her natural athletic capabilities were all working together as she was smoothly falling into a familiar rhythm.

"Sam!" Olivia called out and at the call, he didn't slow. Which unfortunately meant that she had to use her backup option. "SAMUEL ULEY!" At the sound of his full name, he was silently standing there.

"What in the holy hell are you doing out here?" Sam asked loudly to be heard over the wind, as there was a storm blowing in and he still had his back to her now.

"You have to go home!" Olivia snapped and he didn't react. "When was the last time that you talked to Carmen? And Sam, this time I mean really talked to her?!" She demanded as he turned slightly to the side at the words and she had caught up, she was now only a few feet away from him, six feet away at the most.

"I don't see how that's any of your business..." Sam tried and Olivia scoffed.

"You idiotic son of a donkey!" She snapped at him angrily and Sam tensed up. "It is my business, when the younger sister of my oldest friend comes up to me and starts to sob, because she is worried that you're going to leave like your father did!" She shouted angrily.

"I'm not my father!" Sam shouted angrily and he was turning away from her.

"Then fucking prove it! Go home!" Olivia snapped and he went silent. "And for the love of god, Uley, would you just look at me?" She asked and he said nothing.

"You broke up with Leah with no explanation whatsoever, you aren't talking to your mom, me or Carmen... Sam, you just have to understand how this looks to others all around you!" Olivia was shaking her head at the words and she squeezed her eyes shut and tears were swiftly running down her face. "Sam, please. I'm begging you to please just talk to me." She said Sam shook his head.

"I can't. You need to leave, right now, I don't think that you should ever come back." The hole that had been punched through her chest when the adult Ateara's had kicked her out was one thing, but this pain... It was a pain like no other for Olivia, who felt like she was losing herself. "I don't want to see you anymore."

"I guess that "together till the end" doesn't mean anything to you anymore." Olivia said with an unnaturally cold tone to her voice as she was burying her crippling pain as she was prone to doing with every emotion of hers, until she was at home alone, and she could scream it out.

"We were 7 years old, Olivia, it shouldn't matter to you anymore either!" Olivia let out a barely audible and a guttural sound of pain, as she felt like someone had stabbed her. "You're not worth anyone's time, not even your own. You're worthless, no wonder that the Ateara's wanted you gone!"

At the words, a true sob slipped out and Olivia had almost no emotional control in her anymore. Unfortunately, Sam knew everything about her which meant that he knew exactly where to hit to make it hurt.

"You can go ahead to hell, Samuel Uley, and... Boy, am I glad to say that they will accept all of your bullshit too!" Olivia forced out the words in between strangled sobs as she looked down at the ground, fighting the urge to continue crying as she shook her head. "Go to hell, Sam. I used to think that you were my best friend... Hell, I really liked you. But now..." Olivia just turned around as she was walking away.

Olivia broke into a run, which turned into the fastest sprint of her life as for once what she wanted to do more than anything in her life, was to run from someone that had been there for her through everything that she had gone through.

Olivia slipped in the mud and she fell directly into it, as the rain had started to pour and then just before she could stop herself from unleashing it, her sudden and rather gut-wrenching scream of emotions had exploded out of her.

Olivia screamed until her voice was hoarse and by then, she was soaked to the skin and she was dirty beyond all belief. Olivia got up and she was walking towards the truck, and she was getting in and she was driving.

She drove back to the Cameron house in a sort of shock-driven daze and Olivia looked around and she had suddenly found herself being ushered into the house.

Mrs. Cameron was giving her clothes to wear and she was calling Charlie for her as Jared's older sibling had come home after years away. Her name was Jayne and she was giving Olivia hot drinks and food, while her mother was still trying to reach Charlie.

"Thanks Jayne." Olivia whispered at the words, Jayne's smile was clear and she was nodding.

Olivia had ended up being offered the guest bedroom for the night and before she took a shower even, Olivia was walking into the room and she fell asleep immediately in the bed, too tired to resist the allure of dreams.
