Olivia cut the engine and she found herself staring at the massive wolves gathered all in front of her house. Three of the wolves she recognized, two of them were unfamiliar as she looked at them.

"Okay, thanks for the warning." Olivia said as they all turned to look at her as she took in the situation.

Sam was towering over the rest, but strangely enough, the unfamiliar copper wolf was almost as big as he was and Olivia glanced over at Sam, before she looked back at the copper wolf. "Hey Opal." Olivia said as the copper wolf barked loudly in greeting as she smiled, as she walked into the middle of the pack fearlessly and the wolves were all backing up to give her room. "Hey Carmen."

The wolf that was more gray, she was whining a little. "Great, more wolves to remember. Hopefully, I can remember who is who." Olivia noted to herself as she looked around at them all. "I'll start cooking." She said and she could hear the familiar sound of phasing, feeling the ripples in the air and she was walking into the house.

Carmen and Paul were both going on patrol with Jared, while Opal was quietly still lying down in her wolf form and she was looking around uneasily.

"Why is Opal so big?" Sam was helping Olivia with the dishes, as she asked him the question and Sam glanced out the window to look at the copper colored wolf again.

"Not sure. But if I had to take a guess about it, I would say that it's because she was born to be Alpha." Sam said as Olivia nearly dropped the dish in her hands, which he caught quickly.

"What do you mean by "because she was born to be Alpha" Sam?" Olivia asked as he sighed.

"The last pack was three wolves. The Alpha and chief, Ephraim Black, the beta Levi Uley, and Quil Ateara I." Sam said and Olivia looked out the window. "She is the oldest Black sibling to phase. Her and Jacob, they are the ones who were born to be Alphas. I took the position, because I was the first to phase. If she wanted to, Opal could become the Alpha." Sam said and Olivia shut off the water.

"But she hasn't said anything yet?" Olivia asked and Sam shook his head. "Why them? Why did they phase? I thought that it was only guys?" She asked and Sam looked over at her with a sigh.

"So did I. So did the elders. Opal nearly killed Billy earlier today just for saying that she looked tired. Carmen... I don't really know what happened with Carmen, maybe that she lost it on Paul for not being around and then as soon as she phased, they each imprinted on the other." Sam noted and Olivia stared at him, before she burst out laughing.

"You don't look too happy about that." She said after she was done laughing as she was wiping at her eyes. Sam sighed and he moved his arms around her, as they were both looking out of the window. "I feel bad for Opal." She quietly admitted.

"Why?" Sam asked and she looked up at him. "What am I missing here?" He asked and she sighed.

"Paul and Jared were two of her best friends. She got them back, but now she is going to have to find excuses just to not see Quil or Embry now." Olivia explained as she was shaking her head. "Poor kid." She said.

"You do know that you will be cooking for five wolves instead of just three wolves now, right? Which is the solid equivalent of a hungry army of people." Sam reminded her and she sighed, turning away from the glass and she rested her head on his chest.

"I don't care." Olivia whispered and she hugged him. A howl went up and Olivia looked at him, as Sam lowered his head. "Be careful." She said and he nodded.

"Won't be long." Sam promised and Olivia sighed at the words, before nodding slightly in acknowledgement before he was walking out of the door and she saw his pants and shoes lying on the porch.

The black wolf was loping swiftly over to Opal and then, the two wolves were taking off together into the woods.

After Olivia was done cooking, she turned off the oven and she grabbed her sketches in silence. She flipped to a new page and she was starting to draw.

Olivia looked up as the sibling duo of Sam and Carmen walked swiftly into the house and Carmen, she was grinning now. Happy to have her brother back, Olivia thought she could tell at the moment. "Welcome to the kitchen domain. Aka, my space." Olivia said and Carmen grinned at her. "Yeah, yeah, I know that you're happy to have your big brother back. Did he give you the rundown of all of this?" She asked.

"Don't tell anyone about any of this and since I already imprinted, I don't have to worry, all about the involuntary mechanism." Carmen recited and Sam glanced over at Olivia, who nodded a little.

"Well, with that out of the way. Welcome to the pack." Olivia said as she hugged Carmen, who was squeezing the life out of her. "Ouch ouch, Carmen? Can't breathe." She said and Sam pulled Carmen off of her.

"Sorry, I guess I'm stronger than I look now."

"Don't even worry about it." Olivia said as she clapped Carmen on the arm. "The change isn't as obvious in you, as it is with Sam, Jared and Paul. Opal will be in the same boat as you, she will be a whole lot stronger than she knows for a while until you two get it under control." Olivia said.

"I should probably get back to Mom. Since you two are just totally now living together anyways now." Carmen noted and Olivia glanced up at Sam, who was shrugging a little bit.

Carmen took off running out the door and Sam shut the door, as Olivia looked around at the sudden and almost empty house.

Sam leaned against the door quickly and Olivia glanced over at him. "You doing okay over there?" She asked and he sighed.

"There's just a whole lot of stuff in my head right now from everyone else's thoughts and it kind of gets hard to differentiate mine from the group's." Sam said as he rubbed his temples and Olivia walked over to him.

Olivia moved her arms around him in silence and Sam smiled, before they were silently just standing there. "Is it easier now?" She murmured.

"A little bit, yeah." Sam murmured and she rested her head against his chest as she was listening to his steady heartbeat. "Finally get used to the heat?" He asked as she glared up at him. "Never mind." He said quietly, as she silently looked down. "You don't have to worry about me, you know that right?" He asked and she sighed.

"You can keep saying that, Sam, but it's not going to make a difference. I'll worry about you, no matter what you say." Olivia murmured softly and he grabbed one of her hands in his. "I mean it." She whispered and he nodded.

"It's just the same for you, Livvy, don't you dare think otherwise." Sam murmured and she was nodding quietly.
