"Are you sure about this?" Jared asked as they had stopped at the boundary line for a pair of warring species'. "We can't protect you on the other side, Olivia, you know that better than anyone else." He said and she sighed.

"I know Jared, but I can't stay in La Push knowing that he can basically just totally invite himself into every house in La Push. I can't do it." Olivia said as Jared looked past her at the back seat, where Chayton was in the back seat. "I'll come and see you guys, I promise, but I can't live in the same house as him." She said as Jared looked at her, before he was nodding and he sighed.

"Call me when you get situated?" He asked and she nodded slightly at the words before he was backing up and then, she was continuing to drive across the line.

Olivia spotted that for a very brief moment in her rearview mirror, there was a dark brown wolf standing in the middle of the road. The fur on his face was gray and Olivia sighed quietly.

"You look like a raccoon." Olivia knew that she didn't have to speak very loudly to know that he had heard her and Olivia continued driving. She sighed as she pulled up to the familiar house and she parked the van.

Olivia took Chayton out of the car with her as she carried him up to the door along with one of her duffle bags and she knocked on the door quickly. Olivia heard footsteps coming down the stairs and she backed up a little bit, before sighing with relief when she saw that it was Charlie who had flung open the door.

"Livvy, you all right?" Charlie asked and immediately, he had noticed the bag in her hand and the car seat in the other.

"It's a long story... But, I was wondering if I could crash here, for a couple of days?" She asked and Charlie immediately waved her inside, as she was walking in.

"Could I maybe see the young one for a minute?" Charlie asked as Olivia carefully took Chayton out of the carrier and she held him out to Charlie who immediately cradled the baby boy. Chayton opened his eyes sleepily to look up at Charlie, who was grinning like he had just won the lottery as Olivia smiled at the sight of them. "What's the little guy's name?" He asked and Olivia smiled a little.

"Chayton." Olivia said as Chayton made a small noise and Olivia chuckled softly at the noise. "Hey buddy." She murmured and then her cell phone rang out in her pocket. "Sorry I've got to take this one... Can you stay with him?" She asked and he nodded quickly.

Olivia flipped the cell phone open and she picked up the call quickly with a quiet tone in her voice. "Olivia speaking." She said as she was walking outside.

"You moved across the line?! What in the hell is wrong with you?!" Sam snapped and Olivia said nothing on the other end and she was waiting for him to rant it all out.

"Are you done?" Olivia asked and then suddenly, a massive snarl came from the other end of the phone and then very suddenly, the phone line cut out. "Oh god." She said as she stared at the phone briefly before she walked back into the house. "I need to use the phone!" She said sharply as Charlie nodded quickly.

Olivia quickly called the familiar number that she knew as well as she knew her own cell phone number, as she was waiting with baited breath for someone to pick up the phone. "Oh, come on... Come on, someone just pick up the phone." She pleaded softly into the phone.

"Olivia?" Opal asked.

"Opal, what the fucking hell is going on now over there? The last thing I heard before the line disconnected was a snarl, so at least one of you phased!" Olivia said just as loudly as she dared with Charlie quickly, just only in the other room.

"Jared and Sam are beating the shit out of each other, they have been fighting on and off since he phased when you left." Opal said and Olivia felt pain ripping through her. "I don't want to force you, but if we can't get them to stop fighting, then one of them... Well, the one might kill the other. And we both know now, who has a better chance at winning." She said and Olivia sighed.

"I'm on my way." She murmured quietly as she hung up the phone as she sighed at her snap decision. "Damn it." She said.

"Is everything okay?" Charlie asked as he was still holding Chayton, when she swiftly came out of the kitchen.

"Yeah, I just forgot some of his stuff back at the house. I'll be back in a little bit, can you watch him?" Olivia asked.

"Of course I can. Drive safe out there." It was a nice sentiment, as Olivia took the van and she drove off like a maniac.

Luckily for her, there were no cops on the road and she was whipping along the road with a determined glint in her eye.

Olivia had hardly cut the engine, before Embry and Quil were running towards her and she jumped out of the car. "Where are they?" She asked and the two teenagers just pointed almost helplessly.

Olivia didn't even bother to compose herself, before she was walking quickly over to see that Carmen and Opal were attempting to restrain Sam, who was trying to get at Jared again. Jared, who was currently more red with blood than he ever had been before.

"Jesus Christ." Olivia said quietly and then she saw Jacob rushing to help the girls with Sam, while Paul was helping Jared back onto his feet and the other teenager was staggering. "Hey!" She called out as everyone stopped, turning around to look at her.

Sam stopped and they suddenly all fell on top of him in a heap, as he had stopped his struggling.

"I'm gone for all of two hours and everything goes to fucking shit?!" Olivia snapped as they all looked at each other as Sam was kicking everyone off him. "Shame on all of you!" She said and they were all silently watching her.

"Are you done?" The question was undoubtedly directed at Sam, who was silently looking between her and Jared, who was being silently supported by Paul and by Seth, who had quietly appeared at some point during the confrontation to help Jared on his feet.

Sam disappeared into the woods and the rest of the pack looked at each other as they were suddenly on their own.

"Who called you?" Jared asked and Olivia glanced over at Opal, who shrugged. "Good move." He said.

"Someone had to save your ass." Opal remarked as the rest of them had to go on patrol with the angry Sam and Paul, he had to watch Remy for the day.

"Get yourself cleaned up, Jared, you look like somebody dumped a bucket of red paint on you." Olivia said and Jared sighed as he was shaking his head.

"I wish that it was." He muttered as he disappeared into the house. Olivia walked into the house reluctantly to snag the keys to the truck, as she was sick of driving the van around and she left the van keys in its place.
