"I don't want to become the kind of Adwait who would rip every single skin cell off any man who dares to have even the faintest touch upon your skin," He placed a soft, lingering kiss on her earlobe.
Nitya's heart raced in response to his words. Sh...

Vikram.
A shiver ran down my spine the moment I saw him. But what really shook me to my core was the blazing anger in his eyes.
I made my way towards the door to leave the place but he positioned himself in front of me, effectively blocking my path.
Panic flooded through me. I made a mad dash for the safety of the door. But before I could get far, his grip tightened like a vise, slamming me against the wall. Quickly, his hand forcefully covered my mouth, silencing any cries for help.
"Do not dare provoke my fury any further, Nitya," he hissed through gritted teeth.
I frantically clawed at his wrist, nails digging into his skin to break free from his suffocating hold. But instead of loosening his grip, my feeble attempts only seemed to make him angrier, causing him to press his hand over my mouth even harder.
"I have fucking warned you, haven't I?" he spat venomously, compelling me to stop my struggling. "I'll release my grip from your mouth, but you better remain silent. If you defy me, the consequences will be unimaginable."
I nodded in agreement with a heavy heart. It was pointless to try to scream for help. The locked door served as a barrier to any potential escape.
The mere notion of what he might unleash upon me if I dared to scream sent shivers down my spine. I had to devise an alternative plan to outsmart him and ensure my survival.
He finally let go of his tight grip on my mouth, giving me a brief moment of relief.
Stepping back, he circled himself, his hands now gripping his hair in an attempt to rein in his simmering rage. And then, without warning, he kicked against the nearby iron slab, causing it to jolt and reverberate.
The sudden impact startled me, evoking an involuntary flinch and an yelp of surprise.
"It's all because of you, you fucking wretch," he hissed, abruptly closing the distance between us, causing me to shrink further into the wall
My fear intensified. I clenched the fabric of the outfit tightly in my fist in an attempt to steady the trembling of my hands.
He clutched my arms with a cruel tightness, eliciting a sharp intake of breath from me.
"You played the role of innocence and purity when I approached you for a one-night stand," he seethed, his voice laced with venom. "But now, here you are, entangled with that man, Adwait Scindia, simply because he possesses greater wealth than I. You despicable, conniving bitch." He shook me forcefully, causing tears to cascade down my cheeks.
My eyes widened in disbelief at his baseless accusations and a surge of disgust coursed through my veins.
This man, a loathsome piece of filth, assumed that everyone was as morally bankrupt as himself. But, I knew better than to provoke his anger further. My priority was to ensure my escape from this wretched place.
