I captured a few selfies and, satisfied with how I looked, sent them to Adwait. I had just acquired this new outfit and I wanted to share it with him first and foremost.
Within a matter of minutes, my phone pinged with a notification, and I eagerly retrieved it.
A:- I can't see clearly. How about I come over to your house and get a better look at you?
I gasped, my heart racing. "No way, you'll definitely get me killed if you show up at my place."
A:- No one would dare lay a finger on you, let alone harm you.
"I'm well aware that I have nothing to fear when you're by my side."
A:- So, you haven't given your approval to my proposal.
"Adwait, you can't come."
A:- By the way, you look absolutely stunning. The kind of beauty I could happily gaze at for hours, kiss tenderly, hold close, and love endlessly throughout the entire night.
My eyes got freeze on the particular phrase, 'love you through the entire night,' and widened like a scene from a horror movie.
Did he just...?
"Adwait, you are so shameless. How can you say such explicit words to me?"
A:- I didn't even use explicit words, love. If I had, you'd be hiding your face in overwhelming shyness instead of just blushing.
I huffed in exasperation. Even through text, I couldn't hide my emotions from him.
"Have a bit of shame, Mr. Scindia."
A:- It's precisely my sense of shame that keeps me limited to texting you for now. Otherwise, I would have been there already, kissing you until you were utterly overwhelmed, shuddering in my arms.
The phone nearly slipped from my hand in response to his bold words. I should have known better. I could never outwit him on this matter.
"Fine, you win. You have more shame than I thought. I must have been delusional."
A:- So, may I come over to your house now? I promise it's just for a goodnight kiss, and then I'll take my leave.
I bit my lower lip, torn by desire and caution. "Adwait, you're aware it's far too risky."
A:- Poor me. I can't even get a small kiss from my own woman. But I suppose I've grown habitual to it.
"I promise to make up for it with hundreds of kisses tomorrow."
He went silent, and I waited for a minute. Even though my message was marked as seen, he hadn't replied. Was he upset?
"Adwait, are you there?"
Still, my message had been seen, but he offered no response. Frowning, I attempted to reach out once more, but this time, the message wasn't even acknowledged.
