I'm Glad Is You

Chapter 7

 Adrien's POV

Once I got home I headed straight to my room since my father wasn't there to greet me I assumed to just go to my room. I took off my jacket and set it on my couch then went to my bag to get my things out.

I took my moms letter and put it in my desk with the other letter I had gotten on Valentine's Day all those years ago thinking it was from Ladybug but I feel like it might have been from someone else hopefully my lovely now girlfriend Marinette.

I took out the picture of me and my mother and put it next to my bedside and took my controllers putting them on the table near my couch and adding the game I had gotten to my huge collection of other games I have.

I went onto my desktop and changed the middle picture to one of Marinette and I that I've keep keeping not completely sure why I kept it. It's the picture Alya took of us on the train to London while we were sleeping. I don't know how I didn't fall for her sooner.

I now have my two favorite girls on my desktop I also have a picture of me, Nino ,Alya and Marinette on the third screen to my right. I don't remember the last time I was every this happy, I think it was when my mom was around.

"So Casanova you finally got yourself a girlfriend and she's the daughter of the best baker in Paris. Oh this Camembert will go with whole bread and this Camembert will go really well with sweet bread" Plagg continued to pair his pieces of cheese with different types of bread

"Plagg don't you want to ask me anything else beside pairing your Camembert with bread" I said as I grabbed a water from the mini fridge and started to drink it

Plagg flew upon to my face "Ok...how was the nice hot sexy time with Marinette" just as he said that I spit my water into his face making him scream loudly and hiss at me as he shook the water off his fur

"I-it w-was something" I quickly ran to my bag and grabbed my homework to create an excuse for myself

"Oh look at all this homework I should really get started now" I said and turned to my homework

"Woah woah that's not fair you spit on me and then don't even give me details that is completely and utterly unfair. I'll cataclysm you homework if I have to" Plagg continued to bug me not really caring that I

didn't want to talk to him about my first sexual experience with him

Just then Nino called on video chat and I quickly answered tossing a piece of Camembert at Plagg for him to fetch. 'He may not be a dog but he sure as hell acts like one sometimes'

"Hey what's up Nino?" I asked a bit confused as to why he would call me now

"Dude come spill the deets, Alya is already going to ask Marinette just an FYI. So tell me what exactly happened between you two yesterday?"

I didn't know how to respond I was slightly embarrassed but I also didn't want to over share so I decided to play it safe.

"Well I guess it started during lunch when we went over to her house. Her parents gave me some gifts which were awesome by the way and then we went to her room once the storm hit and she decided to give me the gifts she and my father got for me"

I told him as much as I could leading up to the kiss I didn't want to sound like a big baby in front of Nino. I stopped myself from talking any more after our first kiss since I knew Nino was going to have a reaction and again I was playing it safe.

"Wait so you took the risk of doing all that with her parents in the next room?" He asked I could tell he was slightly confused

"Look it just sorta happened honestly I didn't plan it, I swear. At first it was just kissing then we went downstairs and started to bake cookies" I told him the honest truth that I didn't plan on doing anything with Marinette

"Ok? Then how did you two end up in the position that we found you in?" He was genuinely curious and I don't blame him. Marinette and I are the most innocent people in our class so I understand that it was most likely shocking finding us in that sort of position.

"Well I was watching as her parents walked out of the room and back down to the bakery and turned to look at her just as she threw flour at me and we started messing around with each other and next thing I know we ended up on the couch and well you know the rest"

"Hmm so nothing happened last night?" I suddenly remember last night feeling my entire face turn crimson

"Oh would you look at the time I got a piano lesson sorry Nino gotta go!" I quickly hung up and left out a sigh of relief

I turned around only to see Plagg with his cheese giving me a very familiar smirk that I give whenever I'm Chat Noir. I feel annoyance creep up my spine and turned back to my desktop smiling slightly as I see the picture of me and my mother and the picture of Marinette and I.

"You know kid whenever you look at old pictures of your mother I notice that her smile reminds me of pigtails" he said going to sit on my shoulders

" Yeah you are right about that Plagg. Actually want to see something?" I asked him which he replied with a nod. I go to my files and clicked on private flies that I have hidden so no one touches them not even my fathers know I have these because I don't want to risk him taking them away from me.

I clicked on one of the videos and showed Plagg a video of my mother and I in the kitchen trying to make brownies and my father behind the camera laughing a bit

"Ok Adrien so now we add 2 eggs and a bit of water. Go get the eggs but be careful ok" next thing you know you see a little me running to the fridge to get eggs and slowly walking back to my mother as she put the water into the mixture

"Mommy can I put the eggs in?" the whole video is us just making the brownies then suddenly you see me bump into the counter and the bag of flour land on my head. I just hear my parents laughter as my father set the camera on the opposite counter to face us

" Look mommy I'm a ghost I'll haunt this house for all entirety till I get my brownies" I said running to my mother as my father came and grabbed me but slipped on the floor. The video ended with both my parents and I sitting on the floor laughing

" She looked like an amazing woman, Adrien. I would've loved to meet her and she reminds me a lot of pigtails and you look just like her" Plagg says with a slight sniffle in his voice. I understand that videos like this would make someone emotional when you see the state my family is in at the moment.

Next thing I know I hear a knock on my door I exit the tab with the video and yell a come in while Plagg goes to hide somewhere on the second floor. My father walked in with Nathalie and turns to face me

" I'm guessing you're watching this session is that correct father?" I asked already knowing the answer will most likely be no, but I notice he turned to look at the picture on my dresser near my bed

"I see Ms. Marinette gave you the gift she helped me with, I'm glad I was supposed to leave yesterday but the storm kept me in so I just came to inform you that I'm leaving and I invited Ms. Marinette to come and hang out with you she should be arriving soon-" just then we hear the doorbell ring indicating someone was at the gate

Nathalie unlocked the gate with her tablet and we all walked out of my room to the front door. When Marinette walked into the house I instantly ran to her and picked her up into a hug like I hadn't seen her in forever.

"Mari I missed you so much" I said while still spinning her

"Adrien you just saw me not that long ago, maybe 4 hours ago" she told me while laughing and her arms wrapped around me neck.

I put her down and turned to my father seeing Nathalie brought his bags down stairs and he was standing near Marinette and I.

"So my hunch was correct, Ms. Marinette is more than just a friend" when he said that Marinette giggled next to me while I made an annoyed face and turned to the side. I was wondering when someone would bring that up I just didn't expect it to be my father.

"Mr. Agreste the plane will be leaving soon we need to go" Nathalie told my father who simply nodding and told us goodbye and left along with Nathalie and his driver

I turned to Marinette and we headed upstairs to my room getting ready to have fun of our own.
