Chapter 21

 Adrien's POV

Once we got home Nathalie told Felix and I to put our stuff up in our rooms and head to fathers office.

We sat there for a good few minutes which irritated me as you know my father and I aren't exactly on good terms at the moment since he has yet to apologize to me about Marinette.

"So what do you think father wants?" Felix asked if he seemed a bit worried about something. "Probably to tell us that we're almost adults and we should be sleeping in separate rooms rather than together. You know how he's always been annoyed at how close we are" I said still slightly annoyed I had to cancel a hangout with Nino for this

"I'm actually a bit worried that Adrien fathers looked a bit pale the last time I saw him. I know you're angry at him but please I don't think either of us want to lose another parent" I agree with Felix. I have been noticing my father looking paler and more stressed out than usual.

We turned around as we heard the door open and close behind us. Our eyes followed our father as he made his way behind his desk in front of us. "So I've come to tell you that I want you boys to take more control of the company" he said shocking both of us

"But father, why? What's wrong?" I said standing up scared about the answer he would give us

"Soon I won't be able to continue being the head of the company I wish to rebrand as Agreste Fashion Industry. That is why I've been having you two photoshoots and interviews that way you two can take over soon" he said his eyes closed. I sat back down waited for him to continue "But father theres two of us how would that work?" Felix asked curious about fathers plan

"Well I want you and Adrien to be the face of the company obviously but your Aunt Amelie said she wants you to take control of the her families company so it's up to you. I can train Adrien alone and your Aunt can train you" he said

"But won't that mean Felix and I will be separated?" I asked I didn't want to loose my brother not now not ever.

"No he'll be gone for the summer but then he'll come back and when you two are 18 you'll take full control of the companies" once he finished talking we agreed and thought that it was for the best but it seemed too soon considering we were only 16 and won't be 17 for another few months.

"Father is everything ok? I know that you and I have been at odds lately but I still care about you" I said since everything Felix said about father not looking too well seemed true

"Well if you must know I have been feeling a bit under the weather lately, but I don't want you two to worry its just a headache I'm going to get checked out soon so Adrien please don't freak out too much. You two are dismissed you're free for the rest of the day" and with that he had us leave and go into our room with nothing to do but worry about our fathers health

"Don't worry Felix we just have to trust father when has he ever lied or let us down" I said which called both of us a bit "Piano?" I asked and he nodded we both went off to play a duet together

Marinette's POV

I had so many commissions as well as the outfits I had to do for Kitty section and homework. I called Adrien a while ago and asked if he could take care of patrol alone tonight which he said yes too. Not even 10 minutes later as I was working on Lukas outfit when I head tapping on my window above my bed

I went over to open and Adrien came in as Chat Noir "Kitty what are you doing here?" I asked since he was supposed to be on patrol right now but instead he's here with me

"Well I wanted to see you for a bit before I had to go back home and since Felix is covering for me I thought I had a bit of time" he answered and came over to hug me from behind as I measured to fabric

"Thanks Chaton but I'm really busy and stressed I don't know if I can give you the attention you deserve" I said turning around wrapping my arms around his waist and laying my head on his chest closing my eyes. I didn't realize how tired I was or maybe I was just more stressed and needed to relax

"Well I have an idea of how to relax you" Adrien said seductively as he kissed my cheek moving down to my neck "How long has it been since we had a bit of fun or some alone time" he moved his hands under my shirt

"Yeah maybe I could use a small break" I said as I moved my head to kiss him as he de-transformed and moved us to my bed

I laid there cuddled up to Adrien's naked chest as listening to his even breathing.

"You know lately I've felt like you've been afraid to touch me since we found out that we have to be extra careful than other people" I said rubbing my hand across his chest

"It's not that I've been afraid to its just that I don't want something to happen and then you regret it later I mean we've been together for almost a year-" I cut him off

"But this relationship has been building up for years" I interrupted him "I want a baby with you and if a baby happens then it happens. You know that my parents support us no matter what and they know we're being as careful as we can be ok?" I said trying to reassure him

"Ok I trust Princess" he said as he kissed the top of my head and moved so he was on top of me. He leaned his forehead against mine with our eyes closed. I looked up at Adrien and noticed our necklaces glowing and pulling toward each other

"Adrien look" I said and pointed at our necklaces "They've never done that before I why now?" I said as Tikki and Plagg came out

"Why are our necklaces glowing?" Adrien asked as we both sat up

"Because you two have finally accepted fate" Tikki answered which confused us both "I mean you two were made for each other and you've accepted both sides of each other and your future together"she answered

"I guess this just means that we're soulmates then" I said and leaned on Adrien falling asleep until I heard his phone ring causing me to groan and lay back on my pillow so Adrien could get up

"Hello?...Yeah I'll come home right now...No I'm not with Marinette patrol just ran longer than I thought..shut up Felix I'll be home in a second" he hung up and leaned over next to me "I have to go home but I'll see you at school tomorrow ok?" he said

"Ok but hurry or else I won't let you leave" I said as I pushed him out of my bed we both got up and he got dressed while I put on my underwear and one of Adrien's shirts

"You know with you looking like that I might not want to leave" he came over to me and gave me a quick kiss he then transformed and went to my skylight "I love you Mari"

"I love you more Adri" I said and gave him a quick kiss he then left and whooed as he left to his house "He really is an idiot sometimes" I said to Tikki who flew next to me

"Yeah but it makes our life more interesting right?" she said causing both of us to giggle

"Time to finish these outfits" I said as I continued getting to work on my designs while doing homework for school.
