Final Chapter 39

 Marinette's POV

Women have the right to complain about giving birth. Sure we chose to have sex but whoever created the birthing system was a huge jerk. Let me tell you first I pushed 2 humans out of my very small hole and now it not only hurts to walk but going to the bathroom is a pain in my ass.
Luckily I have Adrien. He took care of not only me but the babies as well and got up in the middle of the night to take care of them. We were in the hospital for a week or two so the babies could grow to their full size and apparently some numbers on my end were a bit off so we needed to stay to get checked on.
Adrien doesn't know this but I heard him yelling about how stressed he was and how he wanted a break since he's been working more and more since I got pregnant. Not to mention he's been doing school work on top of all that.
Right now we were preparing to go home. My amazing boyfriend was buckling the babies into their car seats while I was finishing packing their bags. After everyone was ready we headed to the car. I sat in the front and Adrien buckled the babies up fully kissing their foreheads making them giggle, he then came to the front and kissed my lips and started up the car.
Adrien has been keeping his distance since I gave birth. I heard I was pretty harsh on him during labor. I felt bad and wanted to do something for him but I wasn't sure what. Plus I don't think my father telling Adrien I was 'defiled' me helped Adrien a whole lot either.
I still couldn't believe he said that to him. I thought my father liked Adrien, but he has been keeping his distance from Adrien since I got pregnant. Now that the babies are born it was like Adrien didn't exist to my father at all. After a few days in the hospital I was fine to go home but the babies weren't so we always went in to check on them.
I tried getting a make-out with Adrien or doing something for him to help relieve his stress, but he kept pushing me away or telling me he was tired. It was almost as if he was fighting himself on this. I looked over at my beautiful boyfriend and gently crest his face, causing him to smile. He grabbed my hand and gently kissed it, placing it back in my lap.
This is how it usually went. I would try to be romantic or sexual and he should push me away.
I heard the babies giggling and saw that Plagg and Tikki were playing with them, helping them stay calm during the car ride.

"O,  they're so cute I wish Kwami's could be photographed. Look at Plagg" I said still looking at my adorable children who looked like they're father even though Emma had my eye color and Hugo had my hair too.

"I don't think Plagg would be able to live it down that he's messing around with a baby. He likes to come off all tough and strong" Adrien said still watching the road.

We made it home quickly and I grabbed the kids things while Adrien got the kids who were in their carseats. We made up to the apartment and I got out the keys opening the door to darkness.
I flicked the lights on and then "SURPRISE!" our friends and family yelled "Welcome home!" I guess its a welcome home party and by Adrien's face he didn't know about any of this either
The babies started crying because of the loud noise. I went and put the bags down on the couch and got Hugo while Adrien got Emma "How did you guys even get in?" I asked trying to calm my son down
"Sorry Felix still had a key. We didn't expect the babies to cry like that" Alya said looking guilty.

"No no it's fine they just aren't use to loud noises it fine" Adrien replied after Emma's cries stopped. "Do you guys wanna see them?" he asked. Now I don't want to sound like a helicopter mom but I don't want to let my babies go just yet.
"I'll go get they're cots and bring them in here" I said but Adrien soon stopped me "Wait Princess hold Emma I got an idea" I held my children while my weird boyfriend went into our room "FELIX COME HELP ME! AND BRING THE KIDS!" Adrien said
I handed Emma and Hugo to their uncle and everyone conversed while waiting for the 2 sets of Agreste Twins. Soon Felix came out and started recording on his phone "Ok now Adrien" Felix said and not long after Adrien came out.
