Chapter 38

Adrien's POV

Marinette's now 8 months pregnant and we've been staying in the apartment my father bought Felix and I for when we turn 18. Although it was meant for later I needed it now and Felix agreed that he would gladly give me the whole apartment for me and Marinette. Felix said he would buy his own place after we graduate.
It was around 3 am and Marinette had woke me up. At first I thought she was just hungry but I soon heard her breathing fast "Adrien! Wake up!" I sat up fast and looked over at her "I think the babies are coming" she said

"But you aren't due for a month?!" I said but quickly sat up and helped up Marinette while Plagg and Tikki got the night bag and we all went to my car which I bought for this very reason I helped Marinette into the car and made sure the car seats were buckled into the car for later. I made my way over and looked into the back to see Plagg and Tikki had put the bag in the back. Right now the Kwami's were trying to calm Marinette down and I drove as fast as I possibly could to the hospital.

On the way to the hospital I made calls to my father and Felix along with Marinette's parents, Nino and Alya. I parked and walked over to Marinette helping her out of the car and to the front desk "Hi my girlfriend is pregnant with twins and she isn't suppose to be due for another month" I said in a panic
"Ok I'll page the OB on call" She said and made a quick phone call while another nurse came with a wheelchair "She'll take you to a room".

We were taken to a room where I helped Marinette into a hospital gown and helped her into bed. The nurse from earlier put an IV into Marinette and this thing to track the heart beat of her and the babies. We were then given wrist bands and told to wait "Are you guys planning on using an epidural?"
"Should I try to labor naturally?" Marinette asked me but before I could answer a women screamed from down the hall "Ok never mind epidural it is" I laughed at Marinette and held her hand.
After about 10 minutes Marinette seemed as high as a kite and keeping making jokes.

"You know I had a massive crush on you in high school?" Marinette said holding my handing in the air with her's. "Marinette we're in our last year of high school remember you're 17 now?" I asked her laughing a bit

"Adrien, I love you and even though you might not love me I want you to know that our friendship will never change" she continued not listening to me "Princess we're together and you're having our babies and I love you too"

"You're really sexy" She laughed. I looked at myself and realize I was in a muscle shirt and pj pants. I walked over to the bags and put on a jacket a quickly zipped it up before my girlfriend could say anything more inappropriate.
The doctor came in and told Marinette to lift her legs which she complied "Ok she's only about 6 centimeters dilated and she needs to be 10 to push" The doctor told us "It seems like we'll be here a while until she's completely dilated"

"OK, but isn't it too early for them I mean she still had a month left?" I questioned not want my babies to be hurt.

"It's fine it's normal for twins to be born early since there's not palely of room for them to grow in the womb." She said which made me worry my babies wouldn't be completely grown "Isn't it dangerous for them to be born if they aren't fully grown?" I asked
"Don't worry Mr. Agreste they're in good hand. Also you have some visitors if you're up for it?" I told the doctor it's fine since I knew it would be our parents. The doctor walked out and sent in my father and Marinette's parents along with my brother, Alya and Nino.

"Hey guys, no babies yet?" Nino asked and I shook my head no "She's only 6 centimeters and she needs to be 10. I want to help but I don't know how" I told them and looked over at Marinette who fell asleep most likely from the epidural.

"I feel so useless it's like I only did one thing and now I have to let her do all the work" I continued and looked over at our families "You're right Adrien, you did do one thing and that was fun. Now you gotta let her do everything else" Felix said leaning back while I threw a pen at him that I found on the table besides Marinette.
"Not funny Felix I'm freaking out here ok?!" I yelled, but remembered Marinette. I looked over to Marinette, but she soon scream in pain. I looked at the monitor and notice she was having a contraction. She seemed to calm her breathing down and she opened her eyes.
