Chapter 22

Adrien's POV

Felix and I headed downstairs to get breakfast but it seemed we were running late so we just ran to the car and headed to school. Once we got there Felix basically ran to Bridgette while I walked over to Alya and Nino who were trying to hold up a tired Marinette.

"Hey bluebell, you all right?" I asked concerned she seemed stressed last night but not this much

"She didn't sleep at all last night when I went up to her room this morning she didn't even realize it was time for school she's been busy with homework and commissions" I guess being Ladybug doesn't help her already tiring schedule either.

"Come on let get her inside class will start soon" I wrapped my arms around Marinette and helped her up the stairs and into class and sat her down. I grabbed an apple from my bag that I
had as a snack for later and put it on Marinette's desk so she could wake up a bit

"Thanks kitty" she said and she laid her head in the desk I gave her a small kiss and heard the bell ring signaling class starting.

We were doing math and the teacher was having every student work out an equation on the board to show that they understood what she was talking about when it finally came to

Marinette's turn I kept my eye in her to see if would fall asleep

As she was working on the problem she looked a bit lightheaded and next thing we know she faints out of no where "MARINETTE" I yelled and ran over to her as the teacher does the same

She was still breathing but the teacher told me to take her to the nurse in case it might be something serious I ran there carrying Marinette bridal style hoping she was ok.

The nurse had me wait outside as she examined Marinette. I had Plagg and Tikki in my pocket as we waited both of them as worried as me. Soon the nurse came out and said she passed out from dehydration and possibly exhaustion

I sat next to Marinette and wait for her to wake up as I held her hand I felt her squeeze my hand

"Marinette are you ok?" I asked as she slowly sat up holding her head

"Yeah I'm ok just a headache I probably just need to rest a bit I've been working myself to the bone lately" her voice faded out and all I could see was my mother and how she got dizzy spells and how my father said she just needed to rest that they weren't serious.

"Your mother is fine Adrien she just needs to rest"

It's happening again and soon I'll just be looking at pictures of her smiling in a cold empty room all alone and she'll disappear too. No, I can't do this not again I could feel the tears coming.

Please God take me don't take anyone else. I can't I don't think I'll survive if you take her too "Don't leave Marinette" I yelled and hugged her tightly " Please I can't loose your can't I don't want to do this again. If you die, if you leave me I don't think I'll survive. I need you Milady"

"Adrien I'm not going anywhere don't worry" she said hugged me back while I cried into her shoulder I couldn't loose her "I love you Adrien I'm not leaving ok?" I nodded but I still wasn't going to let her go and soon I fell asleep crying in her arms.

When I woke up I heard people talking but I still pretended to be asleep I didn't want to be a bother "So do you think he's ok?" it sounded like Felix. I wonder who else is here

"I think so, I told him I was fine but then he started crying. No idea why though" Marinette replied "He kept telling me not to leave him then he wouldn't let me go, not that I'm complaining he normally is a cuddly person as you know but he needs to be careful I've been feeling sick lately" "Oh really what's up?" Felix said sounding genuinely concerned

"Well I've been sick for the past week or so but I feel better afterwards and for some reason

Camembert cheese how been sounding really good lately" Marinette replied

"Camembert always sounds really good Bug" Plagg came out which must mean its only Felix and Marinette because I only heard two of them laugh at Plagg

"Do you think maybe you're...maybe pregnant?" Felix said a little hesitant

"I don't know maybe there a possibility but I would need to take a test to be sure" Marinette replied I heard Felix get up and go somewhere it didn't take long because I heard him come into the room not long after.

"Here I found a test turns out this isn't the first teen pregnancy the nurse has seen" Felix said

"Ok switch places with me" Marinette soon got up and I was laying in Felix's lap I cuddling into his lap since I was slightly nervous and but also because I was very comfortable. I guess it was time for me to 'Wake up'. I slowly sat up and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and looked at Felix

"Hey big brother where's Marinette?" I asked pretending I didn't know whats going on and looked around

"She'll be back she just...went to the restroom" he said nervously I could tell when he was trying to hide something from me but this time I knew he was hiding something. I guess I would just have to wait for Marinette.

We waited for about 15 minutes and then Marinette came back and quickly hid the test behind her back "Marinette I saw it you don't need to hide it behind your back just tell you're ok" I said trying to reassure her

"Well..." she was nervous I could tell I went over to give her a hug but she stepped away. I guess even though I still told her I would be happy if she was pregnant she's still nervous

"Mari, I trust you ok I won't leave you no matter what, just please tell me you're ok" I said my anxiety growing more and more as she hesitated to tell me what the test said "I'm...pregnant" she said and I heard a thud behind us. We turned and saw Felix in the floor and

Plagg laughing at him while Tikki checked to see if he was ok

"Is he ok?" Marinette asked and Tikki nodded saying yes "Shouldn't that have been your reaction?" she asked me

"Well he is my twin brother whatever I feel he feels it too" I said with a nervous chuckle. Both

Marinette and I looked down at the test and sighed

"We are going to be parents" she said

"We are going to be parents" I replied and hugged her "Now how to tell our parents and friends"

I said and looked down at Marinette who had the same nervous look on her face
