Chapter 36

 Marinette's POV

I woke up to the sun hitting my face making me snuggling to what I thought was my pillow. I soon realized it was my boyfriend's naked chest I was snuggling into.
I opened my eyes and looked down to see that I was naked as well. I guess my hormones went a bit out of it last night and we ended up having sex. Being pregnant is truly a miracle and I'm glad that I'm able to carry the fruit of mine and Adrien's love, but pregnancy is also very difficult.
When people say sore feet and back pains are horrible they aren't kidding. I swear if I didn't have such a supporting and kid boyfriend who willingly rubs my feet without me asking I would've given up a long time ago.
I got up careful not to wake up Adrien and put on my bra and his shirt along with my underwear and a pair of shorts. I looked over to Adriens desk and saw the Kwami's still sleeping.
I went downstairs to the kitchen past Mr. Agreste's office and heard him groan in frustration. I went into the kitchen and made myself a small snack careful that it was healthy but also something I was craving. After I got my breakfast I made coffee and got a croissant and bagel with jelly for Mr. Agreste and made my way to his office.
I knocked and heard a small come in. I opened the door careful with the tray in my hand and walked over to Mr. Agreste.
He looked up and barley noticed it was me
"Oh morning Marinette" he said I smiled and said good morning back and handed him his breakfast
"Oh thank you but you didn't need to do that" he said

"Oh it's no trouble besides only you and I are awake. I heard you from outside so I thought maybe I could help you"I replied and pulled a chair next to him "Ok well if you could look through these sketches and tell me what you think it good and what could use some changes that would be helpful" He said handing me a stack of sketches and he began to look through different fabrics that would go good with the current design he was doing.

As I was going through the sketches and eating my breakfast I looked up and saw a picture of Adrien and Felix's mother with Gabriel on their wedding day and next to them a baby picture of Adrien and Felix.
I picked up the picture of the boys and looked at it fondly. I really hope our kids look like Adrien he's just too adorable. "How did you two do it?" I asked out of no where

"We had each other. Also Felix was an easy baby though Adrien did basically eat every piece of candy he could get his hands on. Don't worry it take a team and you two have a whole village. If you feel more comfortable I could get Nathalie to tutor you both until you both have a good schedule with the kids" Gabriel offered and honestly maybe tutoring until we get use to the babies was a good idea
"I'll have to talk to Adrien but actually I really like that idea" I said smiling at him we both heard a knock at the door and turn towards it and saw Adrien coming in with Felix behind him holding each others pajama shirt while rubbing the sleep out of their eyes. They looked so cute.
Honestly I wonder how long they've been like this. I guess twins are naturally closer than most siblings since they've been together since birth. Felix and Adrien may be complete opposites I cant imagine one without the other.
"Father have you seen Marinette?" Adrien asked in a tired tone making me laugh "Adrien I'm right here dummy" I said walking over to the twins and giving Adrien a kiss on the cheek
"Oh hi morning" Adrien said leaning on my shoulder "Felix you will meet your Aunt Amelie at the train station around 12 pm she's taking you to her company so you can meet everyone and get a full understand of what will be happening from now on, you should be back around 5pm. Adrien you will practice your piano and continue you studies at home today along with Ms. Marinette now run along kids" Gabriel said I ran over to grab my food and headed out with the boys.
Adrien and I went to his room while Felix went to get ready for his day. I finished my food and put the plate down and told Adrien I was going to take a shower, which he tried to join but I said no. Once I was done showering I heard piano playing from the bedroom I got dressed in a large shirt and some jeans and walked over behind Adrien as he continued to play.
I didn't know what the song was but it was soothing. I heard Adrien start humming and I felt butterflies, no matter what this boys does he just makes me fall even more in love with him. I wrapped my arms around him neck as he continued to play and hum along.
The fluttering feeling was coming back and I started to feel scared. I didn't understand what it was but normally I feel a flutter in my chest but it's in my stomach now. I pulled away and put my hand on my stomach I didn't know what this was. Did I do something to hurt the babies? What's happening?
I started panicking and Adrien turned around to look at me "Princess are you ok?" He asked to which I quickly responded no. "What's wrong?" He started making his way towards me "I feel something like a flutter I don't know it's weird. Did I hurt the babies or something?" I asked in a panic
Adrien said that we should ask his father. We made our way downstairs back to Gabriel's office and barged in without knocking "I'm sorry father I know you're busy but Marinette's thinks she may have hurt the babies in some way" Adrien explained and his father walked towards us
"What is it? What do you feel?" Gabriel asked "It's like some kind of flutter it just I don't know it cant be right" Gabriel reached forward towards my belly silently asking for permission to which I nodded saying it was ok. Once he touched my stomach he chuckled slightly.
"Oh Marinette this isn't a bad thing" Gabriel said smiling
"It isn't?" I asked still scared I hurt the babies "No it's good. Really good in fact" Gabriel grabbed Adrien's hand and put it where his was only moments ago "The babies are kicking" he said and mine and Adrien's faces lit up as the babies kicked again

"That flutter is the babies kicking?"
I asked and Gabriel nodded. I started crying as the babies continued to kick and I moved their hands to where I felt it.

We thanked Gabriel and made our way back to Adrien's room where we laid down and Adrien had his head near my stomach and talked to the babies telling them weird stories about him and Felix's adventures.
"Your uncle Felix's will most likely you get you books as a present but just thank him for the gift and don't complain. Feel anything now?" Adrien has been trying to get the babies to kick again for about 20 minutes and I keep telling him no

"They started kicking when they heard you singing" I told him and it looked like he got an idea "Ok Ok I'll sing then" he said and got into a better position wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I am a cat, just chilling out, but in the night your mom's all I think about" he sang but changed the lyrics slightly making me laugh "I feel so strong, when she's around, she picks me up when I am down" The babies started kicking again making me laugh and Adrien started bouncing with excitement "I pick you up when you're down yet half the time I threw you across Paris" I said still laughing

"Yeah but even when I was sad or upset about anything you always managed to make me smile" he said then kissed my stomach.

"You're going to be an amazing father Adrien" I whispered to myself noticing he didn't hear me since he was still singing to the kids. I cant wait till these babies are here I know Adrien will protect these kids with all his heart. I heard purring and looked down and noticed Adrien fell asleep on my stomach.
I giggled and let him sleep and decided to take a nap myself.
