Chapter 6

Marinette's POV

I woke up to the sun hitting my face. I turned around to see a shirtless Adrien by my side I was about to scream but then a replay of last nights event went through my mind. Suddenly I smiled and softly patted his head to move some hair from his face. He looks so cute almost like a little kitten honestly giving small snores that sound like meows.

I got out of bed and wrapped Adrien up in the blanket more since he was basically on top of me I needed something to replace me. I tucked him in and saw him cuddle more into the blanket I then kissed his forehead and headed downstairs to see how Alya and Nino are doing.

Just as I got down stairs I noticed they were starting wake up and they both grabbed their glasses just as my parents walked into the living room wide awake.

"Who wants breakfast we went out to get it since we don't really have much" Mama told us as she set the food on the counter and got out six plates and some fork and knives for everyone

Everyone grabbed a plate as Papa set eggs and bacon and some pancakes and a few fruit bowls "Hey papa don't we have some more fruit and yogurt?" I asked

"I think so sweetie why? Are you planning to make us some of your famous Marinette smoothies?" "Yes I am I'll get everything set if you can make a plate for me please"

"I got you girl" I thank Alya as I went to the fridge to get the yogurt and got everything set up to make smoothies for everyone.

I felt like everything was going well until Alya had to open her big mouth and remind me that I'm not wearing my own shirt this morning

"Hey Mari I don't remember you wearing that shirt to bed when did you change?"

"O-oh um I changed after you and Nino went to sleep" I said nervously hoping she would change the topic quickly

"Hmm I'm pretty sure that Adrien was wearing that same red shirt yesterday at school. Speaking of which where is sunshine boy?"

I was slowly getting more nervous quickly coming up with a lie as Adrien came downstairs with the shirt I gave him yesterday on.

"O-oh you know I changed and asked Adrien if I could barrow his shirt, oh it looks like Adrien coming downstairs right now" I quickly turned around and continued making the smoothies for everyone as Alya continued to question Adrien. Poor guy I basically fed him to the wolves

"So Adrien why are you coming out of Marinette's bedroom on this fine morning, care to explain" she continued to tease him forgetting completely that my parents were right there.

"Oh after you two fell asleep she went upstairs to change then came back down asking if I wanted to continue our movie marathon in her room instead so we didn't wake you and Nino up"

It's crazy how good of a lie that was, if I wasn't up there with him I would've believed it myself

"Thats fine Adrien but please we trust you both to be responsible and everything, but you two are still teenagers we would appreciate if you two weren't alone in closed places I wouldn't want any "accidents"

to happen" Papa said to both Adrien and I making me dropped the cup in my hands from shock and Adrien dropped his fork that he was using.

It's crazy how sometimes parents just know certain things

"Papa! Why would you even say something like that!" I exclaimed shocked that he would even bring something like that up when he doesn't even know if we're together or not.

"Well remember what happened with Chat Noir I want to know if he's really good enough for my daughter and actually loves her and will protect and take care of her" he said as Adrien stiffened at the mention of the time my father got akumatized
