I'm Glad Is You

Chapter 9

 Adrien's POV

Marinette and I continued to play games till she decided she was going to put on a movie for us to just relax. We were both laying down on my couch with Marinette laying on top of me, I looked down and noticed she had fallen asleep so I slowly moved out from under her and covered her up with a blanket.

I went over to my piano and started to play some Beethoven and started at Marinette from where I was sitting.

"Hey kid, good morning" Plagg flew up to me with a slice of Camembert in hid little hands

"You know its like 6 pm right Plagg? Where did you get that cheese?" I asked a bit confused

"I obviously I have a secret stash" he said as he ate the cheese in one huge bite. "How about a duet?"

I laughed and agreed to play a small duet since Marinette is asleep and Plagg is a lot smarter than he actually acts. Plagg starts to dance around on the keys playing the bass line while I started playing the melody.

Next thing I know Plagg tripped and fell on the keys which caused me to laugh and Plagg flew up to my shoulder. I went over to the mini fridge and grabbed a juice taking a small sip from it and placed it near my desk top sitting down checking if Nathalie emailed me my schedule for the week.

As I was typing on my computer Plagg flew to me at a fast speed spilling my juice on my shirt and jeans.

"Awe man Plagg" I whisper yelled but he quickly apologized. Obviously I accepted his apology because he didn't mean for it to happen. "It's fine Plagg I'm gonna go change why don't you just go eat some Camembert" I could tell he still felt bad but he should understand that I'll forgive him no matter what he's one of my best friends

Plagg flew away to the second floor while I grabbed some clothes to change forgetting Marinette was asleep on the couch. Suddenly my phone rang as I had just put on a pair of sweats. I went over to the dresser next to my bed and grabbed only to see Felix had called me.

"Hello?"

"Hey Adrien I need to talk to you, it's kind of important" he seemed nervous and Felix never gets nervous

" Whats up Felix are you ok?" I was genuinely worried about him

" So my mother wanted me to have a fresh start because I recently got expelled from my old school for a prank that wasn't even mine. She already talked to your father about it, but I wanted to be the one to tell you that...I'm moving in with you and father" Oh...so that's why he's nervous

"Felix that's great I would love to have you here to be honest" just then Marinette woke up and looked over at me from the couch. She slowly got up and walked up to me wrapping her arms around my waist and leaning against my back.

I continued talking to Felix about our situation and him living here when suddenly Marinette started kissing my neck. I could tell she was still half awake so she probably didn't realize what she was doing or that I was shirtless.

"So you're really ok with me moving in with you?" Felix asked as I bit back a moan

"Oh y-yeah t-totally I would l-love to h-have you here, more company the better" Marinette started to moved her hands around my body going down south making it a lot harder to concentrate

"Are you ok Adrien, you sound funny" Felix seemed worried about me but I couldn't give away what was happening I haven't even fully told my father the truth

"Oh yeah totally I gotta go Felix I'll call you back later bye" I quickly hung up and threw my phone on my bed turning to face Marinette "Do you realize that if I was talking to my father we would have been in huge

trouble"

"But it wasn't your father I'm not that stupid maybe you shouldn't be walking around shirtless its giving me lots of ideas" she said seductively

"Oh Mari what are you doing to me?" her phone then began to ring ruining our moment as I glared at the cellular device that's on the coffee table

Marinette walked over to it and answered it while I went to put a shirt on before Marinette got anymore ideas. It sounded like she was talking to her parents it is late I shouldn't have her walking alone outside.

"Sorry babe looks like my dad is outside right now I have to go" she said slightly sad coming over to hug me

"It's ok I'll walk you out" Marinette quickly grabbed all of her things and we went downstairs. I told my bodyguard to open the gate so Marinette's father could come in which he happily obliged

"I'll see you at school ok? I have a busy day tomorrow I have to make up the photoshoot I missed today, but I'll try and visit if I can"

"Its fine Alya wants to have a girls day tomorrow so everyone will be at my house. Don't worry I'll warn you before you come over" she leaned in and kissed my cheek just as the door opened to revel her father

"Thank you for taking care of her Adrien" Mr. Dupain said

"It's really no trouble I hope you two get home safely" I said waving goodbye as they walked away. I went up to my room and cleaned up a bit as Plagg came down to the first floor of my room.

"So kid what's the plan for tonight it's only 7pm and we don't have patrol till 10pm" I started thinking about what we could do then suddenly I had an idea that's been on my mind for a while

"Plagg...Its time for a bath" suddenly he started flying around the room as I went to watch him. Honestly he smelled like Camembert and needs to get it out of that fur of his. The battle was long and I obtained a few scratches on my hand I'm lucky he didn't cataclysm me but he did almost eat the soap because it smelled so good. He said and I quote "Oooh what this? Can you eat it?" luckily I took it away before he could eat it

Once Plagg was clean I dried him off and made a "face mask" for him really it was just some face wash I use every morning but he looked adorable. After all that was over I looked at the time noticing it was still only 7:30 so I set an alarm and watch some tv with Plagg laying on my head using my hair as a blanket.

I don't what I did to deserve a best friend and a girlfriend as amazing and Plagg and Marinette but I'm glad I have them now I have something to talk to Ladybug about and no more senseless flirting.

I'll probably stop calling her bugaboo but maybe I could ask for permission to call her My Lady. Also I want to tell Marinette I'm Chat. I don't want any secrets between us I just hope if Ladybug agrees that Marinette will still love me for who I am. A silly superhero that wears a cat costume and makes lame cat puns.

How can anyone love someone like that?
