Chapter 1

Adrien's POV:

I woke up in an excited mood this morning as it was my 16th birthday. I got up and took a shower, deciding to change my style up a bit from my usual everyday look. I decided to wear a plain black shirt with a red overskirt and some black jeans with red and black high tops.

I felt like doing a little ladybug today. I was so excited to see my friends and see what they had in store for me today. Nino decided to get a bunch of people together for a party for me, but had Marinette ask my dad for permission as the last time Nino tried he got akumatized. To my surprise my father actually said yes most likely because Marinette can be very persuasive when she wants to be and my father actually like her.

Once I was dressed I went to grab my bag but was stoped by Plagg flying up to face yelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADREIN!! I have a very special present for you" he said with a huge smile on his face which kind of frightened me considering he's been trying to give me Camembert cheese since my 14th birthday.

"You're not trying to give me cheese again are you?'' I asked a little skeptical of what he has in store for me this year "No I don't have cheese for you this year actually its really special I promise and know I'm doing this because I really do care about you ok? Now hold out your hands" I did as he told me and waited I saw him start hacking up like he was trying to get rid of a hair ball and I got slightly scared next thing I know he spit in my hand.

"Ugh Plagg that's gross" I exclaimed but suddenly shut up as I saw what looked to be a small black charm in my hand I picked it up puzzled wondering what exactly Plagg gave me. "What is it exactly?" I asked still slightly confused "Its a Kwamitama its a great symbol of friendships between us kwamis we take a piece of our owners hair and combined them with other hairs of our other miraculous holders and create this."

I was so surprised that he would give me something that was this sincere. I grabbed Plagg and hugged him so tightly that he had to phase through my hands to get out. "Thank you so much Plagg I love it and you know what I have an idea of how I can carry it around without people thinking its weird" I said as I went to my desk and got out some string I had left over from when I made Marinette's lucky charm.

Even though it was so long ago I kept the string because I wanted to try making her something again one day I just didn't know what. I took the small charm and fixed it to put it on the string I then tied the end of it to a small clip and clipped it around my neck. I noticed after looking in the mirror for a while that it looks like the white half of yin and yang, I wonder if Ladybug has the other half.

"There we go, Plagg what do you think?" I asked him and he flew over and took a look at it, he looked like he was thinking about something. "What is it Plagg? Do you think it still looks weird I'll keep it under my shirt if you're worried about seeing it" I said slightly worried that he feels I messed up his gift

"No it's not that its just why did you put it kind upside down." I was slightly confused but then slowly understood what he meant "well I remember from the only time I saw the miracle box that my ring was on the side that looked like the white side of the yin and yang so thought it seemed appropriate you know" I said with a smile kinda glad he wasn't upset with me.

"Ok kid whatever you say but you know that you ring was on that side because you and Ladybug are basically yin and yang right? You two balance each other out." I told him that I understood and went to grab my bag off the couch in my room. When I grabbed it I heard something fall out. I turned to see it's the lucky charm Marinette gave me all those years ago and smiled slightly. I grabbed it out it around my wrist as best I could soon realizing I had to ask Plagg for help.

Once I felt I was ready I suddenly heard a knock on my door and Plagg quickly rid in my bag and I went to open the door to see my father surprisingly " good morning Adrien I am here to inform that I will be busy tonight so I can't attend your birthday party but I did inform both Miss Marinette and Nathalie that your birthday party outside in the backyard" my father spoke so formally towards me I felt like one of his workers but he seems to be trying.
