Chapter 37

Adrien's POV

Marinette is about 6 months pregnant and is showing a lot more. Alya decided to throw Marinette and I a baby shower and wanted to get all our friends involved.
Marinette wasn't sure if a baby shower was a good idea since no one knew she was pregnant and she didn't want people judging her.

"Marinette please, it's the best friends job to throw a baby shower. I promise I will only invite the girls and your closest guy friends" Alya said practically begging while I was making some macaroons for Marinette with her mothers help.

"Alya please stop. I really just want to get my babies everything they need and I need to finish this checklist so I can come up with a budget for Adrien and I
then we can go shopping" Marinette said obviously frustrated.

"I'm gonna go check on her ok?" I told Sabine. She said ok and continued baking without me.

I walked over to Marinette and Alya "Hey Alya could you just give Marinette some space? I'll talk to her, but I don't think a baby shower is good idea. No one but our families, you and Nino know she's pregnant and if we have a shower then that's an opportunity for Lila and Chloe to talk crap about my girlfriend and spread rumors that aren't true" I told her trying to convince her we didn't like the idea

"Ok Chloe I understand but Lila? Come on guys" Alya was still begging and Marinette ran up to her room obviously very frustrated that no one was listening to her. "Alya I'll talk to her but if we decide to have one then we have final say on who comes from class got?" once I said that Alya got really excited and tackled me into a hug.

I walked up to Marinette's room and saw her on her chaise singing to the babies. " Hey princess, how are you feeling?" I asked kneeling down next to her placing my hand on her stomach only to feel my children kicking my palm.

"Hello to you two as well" I said laughing.
"I'm ok I guess just really stressed. Honestly I want to have a baby shower, I really loved the idea of my friends coming together and celebrating my baby with MY HUSBAND and his family. I didn't expect to be 16 almost 17 having two babies in high school" I knew she was right, but I did have the intention of marrying her once we graduated and I had taken over the Agreste company so we could have our life set up first before I married her.
"Marinette" I said and she quickly turned her head towards me since I said her actual name instead of her nickname "I understand, but these will be our closest friends and we will have final say on who comes and who doesn't. We'll have it in the backyard at my house and then my father won't have an excuse not to come" Marinette chuckled through her tears "Don't cry ok? I know I'm stressed as well but we have each other" I kissed her cheek causing her to smile.
"Fine but we have final say on who comes and I need you to help with the baby registry" I smiled and quickly nodded then helped her up. We made our way downstairs to see Sabine and Alya patiently waiting for us. "Ok fine you two can throw the baby shower but we have to say yes on who goes, me and Adrien make the registry. Also call Mr. Agreste and ask if we can use his backyard. If you two get a yes then ok go ahead with the plan"
Alya and Sabine tackled Marinette "Careful two babies in there" I said and they quickly let go and apologized
I gave them my fathers number, he's been answering a lot more these days, and Alya ran outside to make the phone call while Sabine helped Marinette and I put together a baby registry.
~2 weeks later~
Alya sent out invitations to Ivan, Mylene, Kim, Nathaniel, Marco, Rose, Juleka, Luka, Kagami and many others of our class. Luckily she didn't invite Lila. However Chloe was actually very excited about "a baby Adrikins" which made me laugh and glad that she wouldn't criticize Marinette and I
"OK so we'll need our own place after high school, but till then, where are we going to keep the cribs?" Marinette asked as we looked through different things the babies would need.
"I guess since you'll be breast feeding we'll keep them here at your house and we'll get a cot or something for when they're at my house" I said still wondering how the hell we're going to do this
"Yeah I guess that's a good idea, but still maybe we should get our own place now" I knew Marinette was right but we would still need to commute to school and also to the Agreste company since I would be going back and forth from home to school to work then to the babies.
"Yeah ok I'll look into condos for us, but remember Felix said we could use our apartment " I told her and walked over to her desktop to start researching apartments myself. "Yeah but we'll need a bigger one later on plus I hate the idea of stealing the apartment from Felix." No matter how many time I reassure her it seems she always has a comeback.
"Did you realize that they have a lot of Ladybug and Chat Noir baby stuff? Oh
Kitty come look they have a Chat onsie with little ears oh it's so cute" Marinette continued to gush over stuff while I laughed to myself and continued my search
"Princess we have old cat onesies that were mine and Felix's the kids can have those. Don't put things we don't need on the registry, I'll be looking over that list before you-" I heard a click and turned around to see my girlfriend looking guilty. I ran over to her and she slammed her laptop shut and ran or in her case waddled around the room "What did you put on that list Marinette?" I asked
"I put only things we need" she said and I gave her a look that just said
'really?' "Ok fine I put some stuff that we didn't necessarily need but still Chaton it's fine you already looked over it and put all the main things we need ok?" I told her fine knowing she wouldn't give up what she put on there.
~3 days later~
The party is today and Marinette is trying to put on a pink dress but with great difficulty "Ugh what's going on this dress fit last week when I bought it" she complained
I finished buttoning up my blue shirt and walked over helping her finish zipping up her dress "All better?" I asked and she nodded "Today we're going to find out the sex, are you ready?" I asked
"Yeah I guess I still cant believe we agreed to let my mom and Alya plan everything along with the gender reveal" Marinette laughed "Don't worry princess, we had Felix and Nino along with your father and mine keep them from going too crazy. Shall we?" I said holding out my hand.
Marinette weaved her fingers through mine and we made our way out of my bedroom and out to the backyard.
Once we opened the door all of our friends and family turned towards us and applauded. We welcomed everyone and Alya began the games.
"Games?" Marinette and I asked
"Well duh this party would be pretty boring if we didn't have games planned" Alya said "Ok so I gave these questionnaires to Adrien and Marinette to see how well they knew each other and now it's time to see what they wrote down" Alya gave us the questions she had gave us a week ago which we apparently had to answer separately "First question: Who is going to be the fun parent?"
"Myself obviously" Marinette said which made everyone including me laugh
"Whatever Princess we both know that I'll be the fun one while you'll be complaining about how much candy they eat" I told her and I saw that adorable pout she always gives me when she doesn't get what she wants. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and we continued with the questions
"Who would likely forget to pick up the kids from daycare?" Alya asked and both Marinette and I had the same
"Adrien" "Me"
We said at the same time making everyone laugh "Well I would actually forget who's turn it would be to pick up the kids" I said clarifying that I wouldn't forget my children. We continued the questions till Alya came upon one that made everyone awe at my answer.
"What qualities does Adrien hope the babies would get from Marinette?" Alya asked and Marinette answered
"My humor obviously I mean have you heard this boys puns?" Everyone laughed and I gave my answer
"Her strong head and ability to keep going even when things get difficult. I love everything about Marinette so much that I hope they end up just like her" I said and looked over to see Marinette crying and all the girls swooning over me
"Damn Agreste trying to steal our girls now?" Kim said as everyone laughed "Not my fault I'm absolutely taken by this women" I said giving Marinette another kiss.
We finished a couple more games and ate a couple of snacks that Marinette's parents had brought "Ok time for presents then we will do the gender reveal" Marinette and I were lead to our chairs next to a table filled with gifts "Oh oh
Adrikins open mine first it's the biggest one because I love you guys the most"
Chloe said making Marinette laugh
I helped up my very pregnant girlfriend and and we made our way to the big box and started unwrapping it and soon realized it was 2 boxes. Once all the wrapping paper was off we looked and saw they were miniature Ladybug and Chat Noir cars.
"Oh my gosh my kids will have a car before their own parents" I said laughing "Thats a whole lot of Chat. I don't know if I want my kids to see an ugly face like that" Marinette said with a smirk on her face
"Well I don't know if our kids should look up to someone who likes to control things" Marinette and I continued to criticize each other playfully until Alya handed us another gift in a box
"This is from Adrien's dad" Alya said and I looked over at my father who was next to Felix and Bridgette who looked like they were holding back their laughter. Marinette unwrapped the gift and I saw it was two small cat onesies that looked familiar. I soon realized it was mine and Felix's cat onesies that I told Marinette about.
"Father! Are theses mine and Felix's cat onesies that mother made us?" I asked slightly embarrassed and Felix laughed out loud while my father walked toward me and Marinette with a poster board
"Felix I suggest you stop laughing because I have something that'll embarrass both of you" our father said. He pulled off the cloth that was covering the poster and it showed a picture of Felix and I sitting in bed with with the cat onesies on and I was playing with a ladybug stuffed animal while Felix was next to me reading a book.
I quickly got up as did Felix and tried to run and take down the picture but Kim and Nino held up back while the girls cooed at the picture.
"OMG they're so cute" said Alya
"Yeah maybe Felix and I should have a baby of our own"Brigette replied. The girls continued to gush over our baby picture. Just then Father pulled out another poster but this one was of Felix and I in the bath together. "AWE! TOO CUTE!" The girls yelled

"Father why?" Felix and I yelled looking as red as Nathaniels hair while everyone laughed at us. "It's traditional to show baby pictures of the parents" our father replied.

"BUT IM NOT ONE OF THE PARENTS" Felix yelled.
"You two were always together huh?" Kim asked still having a tight hold on Felix along with Nino who had just as tight of a grip on me. "We're twins what do you expect"  I told Kim.

Felix and I were eventually let go but our father left the pictures up for everyone to see.
We continued to open gifts and ended up with a lot of baby clothes, blankets, toy and even 2 cribs from my father that were apparently mine and Felix's.
Apparently twins run in the family on our mother's side so they were very important and she wanted us to have them.

"Ok time for the gender reveal. So it took a long time to figure out the funnest way to do this and also the class had made bets once Marinette revealed she was pregnant so people will be getting and also loosing money" Alya explained among everyone laugh "So Marinette you will throw the ball and Adrien you have only one chance per baby so let's hope you can hit these balls"

I was given a pole by Felix that resembled my Chat Noir stick and Marinette have 2 balls that looked like her yoyo. "Ok so red for a girl and green for a boy. We wanted a Ladybug and Chat Noir theme, it was Felix's idea." Alya said and everyone stood back.

"Ok first one, get ready Adrien" Marinette said and I got in position to hit the ball. She took her normal stance that she does as Ladybug while I got into position to hit the ball.

Once the ball came into contact with my stick a bunch of green smoke came out. I almost jumped up in excitement but realize we had one more ball.
Marinette aimed and threw the ball.

Once again the ball came in contact with my stick and red smoke appeared everywhere as everyone cheered. I ran to Marinette and picked her up spinning her around and gave her massive kiss on her lips.

"So can we tell them?" I asked and Marinette nodded "Ok so now we can announce the names of the babies. Soon in a few months we will welcome Emma Emilie Agreste and Hugo Armel Agreste" I said smiling while everyone cheered. Marinette went over to her parents and I was tackled by my father and Felix.

"Thank you" my father said and I could hear the tears in his voice "You don't have to thank me dad Marinette named the girl" I said as my father and Felix pulled back.

"She would be so proud of you" My father replied
"I really hope she is" I said with tears in my eyes and Felix gave me a quick pat on the back "Go to your girlfriend little brother and then lets finish this cake" Felix said making me and my father laugh.
