Chapter 34

Adrien's POV

Felix and I had finished eating our soup that Nathalie and father had brought for us. We moved to the couch and were cuddled up together like we usually do, flipping through random channels until we heard a knock on our door.

We sat up a bit and turned toward the door to see our father coming in with what looked like a CD in his hand. He walked over towards us and placed the CD on the table in front of us and felt our foreheads.

"Well it seems your fevers have gone down a bit. I'm glad now to the matter at hand. I understand you boys feel as if I haven't been the most present parent in the world and you may be right about that but I have proof that I was there even though it didn't seem like it." Our father said and placed the CD in the player and sat between Felix and I, Felix got closer to father and leaned his head on his shoulder and I mirrored my brother "You two have always been big teddy bears. Always wanting to cuddled no matter if you were sick or otherwise" Father said chuckling slightly "Watch this boys I had no idea how to handle one baby let alone two"

"Gabriel honey could you get Adrien while I feed Felix" I saw mother on the tv holding two babies in the hospital. I could see father going to put the camera down and walked over to mother "Ok...which one is Adrien again?" I heard father ask both Felix and I turned to him with a shocked expression
"You couldn't tell us apart?!" Felix and I exclaimed "To be fair you two didn't have any distinct features yet. Also your mother didn't let anyone near the two of you she was a true mama bear" our father explained and we all turned back to the tv.

"Oh Gabriel that's really funny dear look Felix is the paler one and Adrien is tanner. Besides you can see Felix is trying to go more towards you and Adrien is more of a mamas boy" Mother explained. I saw father picked up who I assumed was me and gently rock me back and forth as mother breast fed
Felix
"He won't latch" mother exclaimed "Maybe he's not hungry" our father responded as he sat in the rocking chair next to the hospital bed
"No he should be hungry ,they're on a feeding schedule remember" Our mother said still trying to feed Felix "Just because they're on a feeding schedule doesn't mean they'll follow it dear" father said switching me out for Felix. I saw mother begin to feed me and sighed in relief "See I told you Felix is a daddy's boy. Oh we were prepared for only one baby how will we handle two" mother said looking exhausted
"We can do it don't worry once Adrien is finished you can feed Felix and then rest giving birth isn't easy and you did it x2 so relax ok" father said we saw a quick skip and I noticed mother was sleeping and father was rocking Felix and I to sleep
"You know theres two of you so you out number me by one, but guess what? I'm bigger and stronger" Father said as he placed Felix and I in our separate cribs and we began to cry again "Ok maybe you two don't like being apart" Father picked me up and placed me in Felix's crib "Felix don't pull your brothers blanket and Adrien don't pull on your brothers hair. Oh dear this isn't good maybe they don't want to be near each other" Father looked like he was freaking out causing Felix and I to laugh
"Well at least we know how that Felix and I haven't changed a bit since we were born" I said looking over at Felix who was laughing at fathers panicked look "Of course you pulled my hair I'm surprised you didn't create a bald spot"
We looked back over at the tv "Ok we're leaving the hospital today. Gabriel are you ready?" Mother pointed the camera at father who was looking away "Wait, wait don't point the camera yet Emilie" father said and mother quickly pointed the camera at herself again "Ok I'm ready" mother laughed and pointed the camera at father again
"Emilie do you know whats cuter than one Agreste baby?" father said standing proud and tall with me in a cat onsie in a baby carrier "No dear what?" mother asked laughing slightly "TWO AGRESTE BABIES" Father yelled as he turned around showing Felix on his back causing Felix and I the laugh both in the video and right now
"Father that was horrible" Felix said still laughing along with me "Where did you come up with that?" I asked looking at him
"To be fair your mother thought it was comedy gold" father said with a smug look on his face. All of us laughed and turned back to the screen to see our mother playing with Felix and I on the floor "Oh Honey I cant even believe how much they've grown and it's only been 2 months"
I smiled at my mother as she made funny faces at Felix and I making us laugh "Well dear do you have anything you want to say to their future selves?" our father asked "Yes, my darling Felix I hope you Aunt Amelie treats you well and just know that because you live with your Aunt and Uncle doesn't mean your father and I love you any less ok. I want you to grow up strong and happy and when you meet that one special girl hold onto her and don't let her go"
I heard a sniffle and looked over to see Felix crying I walked over to him and gave him a hug as our father patted Felix's head "Ok mother" he said
"And my little kitten Adrien" my mother said causing me to turn my head over to the tv "I know you'll grow up to have very strong opinions but also be very loving because that just who you are. Take care of Felix he seems a bit antisocial and I want you and him to be close all the time. My baby boys I love you both so much and don't forget that" my mother finished and soon both Felix and I were crying
"Your mother loved you both very much as do I. There more to the video you two can watch it when you want" father said we hugged him and told him that we loved him "I love you boys too, and think now I can definitely tell you apart" father said causing both of us to laugh
"So Emilie who do you think will make us grandparents first?" our father asked making mother laugh "Definitely Felix he's going to grow up to be a little heart breaker when he's older just like his father" mother said making Felix grimace at her comment
"No I think Adrien will have kids first. When he loves he will do it strongly and will act on emotion" father said which made me make the same face as Felix and our father continued to laugh.

"I wager you that Gabriel" our mother replied walking toward father "If Felix has kids first you allow me to create a whole clothing line without any of your input and give me full credit" we heard our father agree "And if Adrien has kids first then...I want another baby" our father said.

"WHAT?!" Felix and I yelled and looked over at father "You wanted another baby?" Felix asked while I just continued to look at my father shocked "Fine I'll agree to that" our mother replied
"I wanted more kids but now that your mother is gone I guess we'll never get to finish our bet, but I hope she's happy wherever she is" Just then we heard a knock on our bedroom door and soon it opened to reveal all our friends with party supplied and presents "Enjoy your birthday boys" father said as ruffled our hair and walked out as we enjoyed our birthday with our friends
"So who's idea was this?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around Marinette "It was Marinette and Bridgette and your father actually" Kim said
I gave Marinette a kiss and looked over to see Felix doing the same to Bridgette "Ok ok boys now lets celebrate!" Alex yelled and we all celebrated
'Mom we aren't alone anymore, but we will always miss you and need you in our lives. I wish you were here. I didn't realize how important you were in my life until I lost you I wish you could meet Marinette. I just hope what you and father taught is enough to raise my own children.
